After Logan and Leah came back from their honeymoon, they joined their friends in the Diamond Villa (as James likes to call his "house") to announce the big news.

"As much as I'd love to be jealous hearing about your honeymoon, I've been dying to hear the big news, so spill!"-Mama Panya demanded-"RRRMM Garcia, what are you doing?!"
"She just wants to play with his sister. Am I right, little one?"-Emmy tickled her little brother, who started laughing, then pooped-"Okay, get him away from me, I don't wanna change his diaper!"
"You're going to be an amazing mother"-Carlos scoffed, picking up his son-"I'll get you all cleaned up."
"Wait, before you do that, I'll tell you the big news"-Leah took a deep breath-"Logan and I started trying... for a baby."
"And I'm pretty sure we made one on our wedding-night"-Logan winked.
"Oh my God!"-the others cheered, hugging the couple.
"And have you thought about names?"-James asked.
"Isn't it a bit soon to ask?"-Kendall raised an eyebrow-"Leah might not even be pregnant."
"That doesn't mean they can't come up with a name"-James said-"If I'm going to have a baby, I'm going to name him James Diamond Junior, or Jamie Diamond, if it's a girl."
"That's it, I'm leaving you"-Emmy stated-"There's no way in hell our daughter's going to be Jamie Diamond."
"Emmy has a point"-Leah nodded-"But to answer James' question, we haven't thought about names yet, although I'm pretty sure Logan wants to name our child after a scientist."
"So... Einstein Mitchell?"-Carlos grimaced-"Do you hate that child?"
"Says the guy who named his son Richard Reginald Ricky Mickey Matthew Garcia"-Logan rolled his eyes-"And Einstein isn't a first name, dumbass."
"Don't you dare disrespect Carlos or RRRMM Garcia like that ever again!"-Mama Panya slapped Logan.
"That's one of the weirdest conversation I've ever had"-Kendall commented.
"My thoughts all the time"-Emmy agreed.
"Let's change the subject-"Leah suggested-"Emmy, can I talk to you for a second?"

The girls left the others in the living room, and went outside to the balcony.

"What is it, Leah? You seem..."
"Stressed? I know, I wonder how nobody has noticed"-Leah sighed-"There's something I haven't told anyone, not even Logan."
"You're scaring me"-Emmy furrowed her eyebrows-"It can't be that bad."
"When Logan and I found out this whole baby thing, my first thought was: what if I can't have a baby? So after we came back, I went to a doctor to see if there's anything abnormal and..."

Leah broke out in tears.

"I have a feeling that I'm unable to carry a child. I mean, it's just a feeling, but if it's true, how do I tell Logan? He was so excited and now, maybe because of me..."
"I'll carry it for you"-Emmy cut her off unexpectedly-"I mean, there's a chance that nothing's wrong, but if you really can't carry the baby out, then I will."
"What?"-Leah looked at her in disbelief.
"I'm sure you don't want some random woman to carry your child, so I'll do it for you"-Emmy put a hand on her shoulder-"It's the least I can do for everything you've done for me."
"The least? Emmy, this is insane!"-Leah shook her head-"I can't let you do this, even though it would mean the world to me, and probably to Logan. And what would James say?"
"What do you expect him to say? If I don't have to have sex with Logan, he'll be fine with it. Plus he would tell me how hot pregnancy looks on me."
"You'd really do that for me?"
"Of course I would"-Emmy smiled at her reassuringly-"Let's tell the guys tonight."

*Later that day*

"Guys, can you stop eating for a second?"-Emmy spoke, causing the guys to look at her weirdly.
"This is the dumbest thing you can say in a restaurant"-Logan said with his mouth full.
"We need you guys to concentrate"-Leah explained-"What we're about to say is going to shock you."
"They became lesbian lovers, didn't they?"-James whispered to Logan.
"What the hell, dude?"-Logan hit his arm, then turned to the girls-"You're not lesbian lovers, right?"
"No!"-Emmy raised her voice-"Oh my God, you and your dirty minds..."
"Emmy is going to be the mother of our child"-Leah spat without a warning.
"Am I that stupid or was that really confusing?"-James glanced at Logan.
"I think she meant, correct me if I'm wrong, that Emmy is going to give birth to our child? Leah, you..."
"If I can't carry it out, of course. I really want to, but I'm afraid I can't. I'm so sorry. I wanted to make sure we're ready, but maybe I'm abnormal."
"You're not abnormal"-Logan took her hand-"And this isn't something you should apologise for. We should be happy that Emmy offered us something like this. Thank you so much."
"No need to thank me"-Emmy waved her hand-"James, say something."
"I imagined you pregnant and that isn't something I can say no to"-James grinned-"Plus that's the nicest thing anyone can do for her best friend."
"I don't even know how to thank you, Emmy"-Logan repeated-"If you ever need a kidney transplant, call me."
"Let's hope that won't happen"-Leah chuckled.
"We should drink to that"-Emmy raised her glass.
"Not while you're pregnant"-James scolded her.
"I'm not pregnant yet, soo..."-Emmy sipped from her glass. The others followed her example.

*A few days later*

"I'm so nervous"-Leah fidgeted with her hands, waiting for the pregnancy test to show the result. The doctors said there was nothing wrong, but she was still worried.
"I think I'm going to cry, this is so exciting"-Mama Panya sniffed.
"It's showing the result!"-Emmy dodged Leah's shoulder excitedly.
"Is it positive? Negative?"-Logan questioned, squeezing someone's hand.
"Looks like we're having a baby"-Leah showed up the test. And as soon as these words left her mouth, the room erupted. Cheering, laughing, crying, lots of group hugs, the smell of poop (thanks, RRRMM)... it was a perfect day. And there was more to come.
