"H-hello..."
"Shit. Did I wake you up? I'm sorry. I'm just-"
"Shut the fuck up, dunce face. What do you want at this ungodly hour?" Bakugou asks with a groggy voice.
"It is indeed too late. I apologise. We can talk la-"
"I'm up now. So, don't leave me hanging, bitch. Did something happen?"
"No, everything's fine."
"Denki...Tell me already why you called."
"No big deal. I just can't sleep."
"Is it your quirk?"
"Not this time."
"What's keeping you up then?"
"It's dumb."
"Anything from you is dumb. I still want to know tho."
"It cleared up already. I was just over thinking too many things."
"If it cleared up you wouldn't have called me."
"It cleared up in our call."
"Really? What is it?"
"Nothiiing."
"Denki, imma get to your house and beat your-"
"I thought you were mad at me."
"What? Why would I be?"
"I don't know. As the hour passed in school I just had more and more the feeling that I'm pissing you off or sum."

"Rude. But no that's not what I mean. I felt like you tried to get away from me."
"We were together the whole time, bubbles."

"Mhm." He makes a disapproving sound.
"Denki, are you crying?"

"Alright. I'm on my way." Bakugou says and hangs up the call.

After Bakugou opened Denki's front door with the key Denki gave him, Bakugou quickly goes upstairs and opens Denki's bedroom door.
"Ugh why did you come?" Denki asks frustrated and wipes over his cheeks quickly.
"Because I'm worried. Why are you crying? What did I do that gave you this feeling?" Bakugou asks quietly and climbs onto Denki's bed.
"Nothing. I'm just dumb."
"You are. Now tell me what I did so I won't do it again."
"Literally nothing that's why I'm dumb." Kaminari frustratingly lays down on his bed, looking up at the ceiling.
"I must have done something."
"No, Bakugou-chan. It happens all the time over the smallest things it was just more present today."
"Denki, tell me already what these things are and why didn't you tell me sooner that you feel like that sometimes?"
"What if I confront you with it and it's true? I would immediately lose you then."
Bakugou leans down and hugs Kaminari tightly, "Bubbles, I love you why do you think otherwise?"
"It's just me. The little things that happen don't mean anything. But I can't stop interpreting something into it."
"What are these little things?"
"No, it's embarrassing."
"I won't laugh or sum, bubbles. I just want to prevent it."
"You do it subconsciously."
"Tell me, Denki."
"Today, for example, you weren't by the lockers and when I looked for you you were with Ochako."
"What else?"
"You didn't kiss me goodbye. That means you didn't give me any because we didn't greet in the morning too. Well these are like the major ones in my eyes and the others are just like...dumb. Doesn't matter."
"I wanna know."

"You too. Just tell me."
"When you said "That's not funny, Kaminari" I was kinda hurt. Firstly, you never say that I'm unfunny because you said that's unchangeable so I felt like you do want to change something on me. Secondly, why would you address me with my last name? You never do that or at least rarely. Don't do that, please. I honestly feel like shit when you say that."
"I'm sorry. I tried to make it on time but she said it couldn't wait and when I came back to the lockers you were gone. And if you didn't point it out just now...I didn't notice that we didn't say goodbye properly I was just in a hurry I forgot. But to be honest, your joke was kinda rude."
"We were just joking around."
"I know but still it seemed kinda mean."
"I'll apologise later then." Kaminari mumbles.
"I didn't use your last name because I'm mad, I wasn't mad at all today, but it just slips sometimes." Bakugou says and kisses Kaminari's cheek, "Are you fine now?"
"No, I feel like shit."
"Why?"
"Because you said I'm rude."
"Denki" Bakugou chuckles softly, "I just said it so you would know to not make more jokes like that. I immediately forgot the matter after the break."
"I still feel like I failed tho."
"At what, bubbles? I promise it's not a big deal for me."
"I know. But I can't change it. I'm just a anxious person."
"Do you really feel often like that?"
"Sorry, I can't change it."
"You should've told me."
"Hmm. Sorry."
"Shall I stay or go?"
"Do you wanna go?"

"Then why did you ask?"
"Denki." Bakugou smiles softly and lays down next to his friend and gives him a kiss on the cheek, "You said at the phone that I shouldn't come so maybe you want to be alone now."
"Hm." Kaminari doesn't say anything because he guesses that Bakugou's explanation is justified.
"Do you think you can sleep now?" Bakugou asks and wraps his arms around Kaminari's waist after he put a blanket over the both of them.
"Maybe. I don't know." He says and also wraps his arms around Bakugou's shoulders.
Bakugou fondles Kaminari's back, stops sometimes and then starts drawing little circles.
"Hmpf. I have the strong desire to do it again do you think you manage to not electrocute me?"
"I said I can't control it, Bakugou-chan. You said it gets hot. Maybe if you do it directly on my skin you can feel when it's getting warm and can wait till it cools down."
"Alright." Bakugou mumbles and slips his hand under Kaminari's shirt to fondle Kaminari's back.

"Oh my god."

"If you would make out with someone would you also zip him?"
"Oh my god."

"I don't think Ochako would accept it."

"You do realise that you hang a lot with her nowadays?"
"I didn't. What do you mean?"

"You always leave me hanging for her and you don't even notice which means that you already like her that much that you forget your other friends which means we will stop being friends and then-"
"Denki."

"Denki, love, stop rambling." Bakugou says and cups Kaminari's face between his hands. Kaminari snaps out of his thoughts and looks Bakugou in the eyes. Bakugou sighs when he notices this scared, anxious expression.
"Bubbles, I promise I love you and I'm not ignoring you or anything but I'm deeply sorry if I convey this feeling."
"No. I'm sorry. I'm just an idiot."
"No, you just worry about our friendship but there's nothing to worry about. At least not from me, I would never leave you."
"I would never leave you too."
"Yeah, you couldn't anyway." Bakugou smirks, "I swear the day you stop sending me memes is a sign for me that you try to break up with me."
"You don't even react to them."
"I swear I watch them though."
"Oh really? Complete these then: So I'm sitting there-"

"Yes, can we sleep? I'm tired. And you need to get ready before me. Right, love?"
