-The next day-
Skeppy POV:
The blades of the helicopter beat against the wind, deafening all surrounding noises. I was at least 100 feet off the ground. There was nothing but the pure rush of sweet adrenaline. My heart raced with excitement, limbs trembled in anticipation. Just then, the vehicle dipped, diving downwards. That's my cue.

I did a great leap off, feeling the air rush pass me like a river current. With a yelp of joy, I casted a towering slide of blue crystals.

"INCOMING!" I warned, sliding at tremendous speeds. With that, my allies dispersed to create a clearing. As I landed, I erected a 10 feet structure of protectiveness. It effectively shielded my allies from the enemy bullets.

"Do you really need an entrance every time?" Bad asked in exasperation. I laughed in response.

As my wall dissolved, Bad sped into a guard, knocking him back, before kicking the gun out of his hand. He ducked as I shot a volley of crystals, effectively striking the man unconscious.

More began to rush out of the facility, but were quickly intercepted by the newly rescued projects. From the corner of my eye, I saw Wilbur combatting 3 men at once, his heavy strums caused rapid vibrations, toppling them over. He then slammed a kick into one of their faces. I swooped in to barrage the other two.

"That's three points for me already!" I exclaimed to him, to my surprised he just ignored me.

Someone's cranky today, I thought, mildly concerned. Wilbur had been moody recently, I couldn't understand why. I thought maybe he had recovered parts of his memory that were unpleasant, but he denied it. Even Bad couldn't cheer him up, and Bad cheered everyone up.

"Snap out of it, Skep!" A6d called from across the field.

A knife whizzed pass my ear, striking a nearby guard in the arm, he staggered backward, before I kicked him down.

"You almost hit me, you baguette!" I yelled back to him. He shot me a glare, sharpening his knives as he did.

"You shouldn't be distracted on the field!"

I rolled my eyes and turned back to the approaching men. If the battle continues like this, it should be an overwhelming victory.

Tommy's POV
At sundown, the group came back. The moment the barn doors opened, it was obvious we had achieved a great victory today. Skeppy and the others had returned with at least 10 new projects. It was a successful infiltration of Facility #21.

"Good work today! No casualties, minimum injuries!" Tapl said, giving Skeppy a pat on the shoulder. He grinned in response, beginning to boast his grand entrance into the battle field. Bad just rolled his eyes and giggled.

As the returnees began to settle down and mingle with the crowd, I noticed Wilbur slip away. He seemed troubled. He had been a lot recently. Mostly directed to Skeppy for a strange reason.

Decidedly, I followed him. There's no one better to cheer you up than TommyInnit, the alpha male himself. However, Wilbur was a private person, therefore, I would have to sneak after him. That, was a tedious task. He had an incredible perception of the environment. Even so, there's nothing the great Tommy couldn't do.

I had to quickly dart around corners and hide behind coverings to keep up. Even so, I lost track of him. For a 6'5 guy, he was quite elusive. It wasn't until I heard the soft melody of a guitar atop the roof, that I knew where he was. I began climbing up to join him.

"Wilbur," I said, pulling myself up onto the barn roof.

He turned around, startled, before pulling an annoyed face, "Tommy."

"What do you got there?" I asked, beginning to approach.

He ignored me and continued playing to the sun. It was beginning to set, leaving a beautiful array of purple, orange, and yellow. The glow of the sky seemed to radiate against my skin. I walked over, before plopping myself beside him. He began shifting away, I followed.

"Why aren't you with everyone else?"

No answer.

"Did you remember something?"

Guitar strums.

"If you don't have friends, you can tell me."

He stopped playing, and shot me an agitated glare.

"Tommy, you're really annoying," he said in a snarky tone.

I scowled, "fine, don't talk to me." I crossed my arm and pouted, looking off to the other direction. I made a grand gesture of making sure he knew I wasn't leaving. He didn't react, just continued sitting in silence. We gazed off into the sunset for awhile.

It was kind of nostalgic. A memory went through my head. It was at summer camp and I had gotten mad. I decided to fight Techno. We agreed to battle by the creek. Only, I ended up slipping and falling in. Techno saved me from drowning. That day, I realized, I really admired him.

The reminiscing brought a wave of sadness. I hadn't heard news about Phil or Techno for weeks. They're probably looking for me. Or worse, dead.

Wilbur noticed my sudden mood, and sighed.

"Tommy," his voice was only a murmur, "if someone left your family to die, would you ever forgive them?"

I scoff, "If someone hurt Phil or Techno, I'd kill them!"

Wilbur seemed to smile, just for a second, at my response.

"What if they don't remember?" He asked, "what if they don't remember what they did?"

I gave him a concerned look, "Is this a personal thing?"

He didn't respond. I didn't question it again.

"Well, that would depend on his reasons."

He looked thoughtful. We didn't talk for the rest of the day. Just continued looking to the sunset.

Note: I had to rush this because my family is doing Father's day stuff, sorry if it's bad!!
