A6d POV:
We stared off into the horizon. It was already midday by now. The air felt a somber and weighted. My heart was heavy, feeling as if it could drop down to my stomach. Tapl was beside me, watching the sky intently. His eyes were trained for scouting, for it was his ability. He could sense people from miles away.

It was then, when we saw it. First, Tapl tensed up. He yelled for us to get prepared. Then, a dark airship with an orange crest came into vision. The moment it appeared, our forces began pelting their projectile abilities. Bombs, blasts of fire, shards of ice, all flew at it, ricocheting right off it's solid surface. I began loading a sniper. I had ditched the knives because they weren't that effective.

Then, the airship opened, and out poured at least 200 guards against our measly 45. They, with their bulky shields, lined up. Just then, the airship unleashed a cloud of thick gas, the same one that infected Mega.

"HOLD YOUR BREATH!" I shouted, hoping they could all hear me. Some of the projects had on masks, and were able to continue casting. Spifey ran forward, creating a huge barrier. The gas diffused around it. Just then, the guards all charged forward, busting through his shield.

Tapl hopped down from the barn roof, landing atop one of the guards. He pulled out a bat, and slammed it over another's face. I took a deep breath, before concentrating my shot. I aimed and fired at one man who was about to attack Spifey from behind. It pierced right through his head. Then, I turned and shot another in the distance.

Glancing around, I noticed some of my friends were struggling because of the gas. The ones without masks had one hand on their face, the other in battle.

"Don't worry A6d, you have an extra important role later on,"

I remembered those words. The same ones Wilbur had told me not long ago. Perhaps this was my calling. I was immune to the gas because I was nonproject. Looking up, I scanned the airship. I was going to get in and deactivate it.

Skeppy POV:
The car was rattling with each pelting bullet. It hit the sides like heavy rain, only louder and more vicious. One whizzed pass my face, barely missing my cheek.

"Duck down, Tommy, you can't tank shots," Wilbur said, pushing Tommy down. He complied quietly and nervously.

"Skeppy, can you try casting outside the car?!" Bad asked, screaming over the loud clacks of bullets.

I nodded. In an outburst of power, I erupted the floor with spiky blue. Then, Bad pushed out of the car, zipping into a crowd of guards. He kicked one down, before turning to strike another. One of them attempted to fire at him, but ended up shooting their ally.

Beside me, Wilbur pulled out his guitar, before releasing a piercing strum that sent heavy vibrations towards the guards. They tumbled over, some on top of each other. I crystalized the ground beneath them, immobilizing their bodies. Then, I turned and began barraging shards of crystals.

We fended them off for awhile, but it grew increasingly obvious that we were outnumbered and outsourced. I felt myself rapidly losing stamina. From Wilbur and Bad's expressions, I knew they were as well. The fear I felt earlier had turned into despair. Despair that I just may not make it out alive.

One guard, obviously a higher rank, charged at me, in her hand, she held a electric hammer. I raised my arm to cast a shield, only, nothing happened.

I'm out of energy!

I felt myself falling a little, limbs collapsing. The pain I ignored earlier was catching up. The guard approached, casting a menacing glare. She raised her hammer, ready to end me. I clenched my eyes shut, bracing for pain. Just then, a bullet pierced through her hand, the weapon fell with a 'THUD!'

I whipped around, to see Tommy, holding a shotgun, smoked coming from the side. His eyes were wide in fear. He had never fired at someone before, and it was evident.

The guard spun around, clutching her bleeding hand. In a fury of rage, she charged at Tommy, eyes intending to kill. I screamed after her, yelling at the boy to 'RUN!'

However, he was frozen in fear and shock, legs glued to the floor. Time seemed to stop for a moment. Tommy was about to die again, right in front of me. And I couldn't even move to help him.

BOOOM! CRAASH!

A rocket ripped across the air, knocking the woman 10 feet away. Dust and debris erupted around her. She was dead.

Another guard, watched in horror, and began running. Just then, a familiar head of pink pounced on him from the woods, before jamming a blade into his neck. He collapsed with a scream. The figure then turned and ripped through another guard.

Suddenly, I felt a grip on my arm. I turned to see a guy with a pair of shades grabbing me. He helped pull me up, before throwing me behind him. In his hand, was a bazooka.

"We got this, don't worry," he said in his posh accent.

At those words, another figure arrived, his arms glowing green. On his face, was a very familiar mask. Upon his appearance, the guards began screaming, before firing each other in shock. They seemed to be hallucinating.

The unaffected guards stared wide eyed at the new arrivals. Without hesitation, they began running towards their cars, attempting to escape. Sensing this, bazooka boy began firing at the vehicles, detonating each one.

Following his lead, the other two figures then charged in, attacking the escapees. I stared, completely shock at the change of events. Wilbur, Bad, and Tommy ran over to join me.

"The guards are getting floored!" Wilbur exclaimed, just as shocked as I was.

Bad let out a laugh, before clutching his ribs, grimacing in pain, "who would've thought? Of all the things that could've happened today..." he murmured.

I smiled, "We'd run into our old friends."

Beside me, Tommy began crying in joy. We watched as Techno, Dream, and George mow through the army of terrified guards.
