Chapter 30

Skeppy's POV:
Just as Grunk called, an eruption of teargas emitted from the drones. Spifey erected a huge protective barrier, shielding the protestors.

Following that, Phil swooped in and began kicking the drones down. Zelk casted his flames, keeping the guards away.

At that moment, my earpiece switched on.

"Skeppy! Our route in is blocked! We need to find a new way!" A6d yelled.

I cursed, "Well, you gotta hurry, there's a lot of guards coming!"

Suddenly, Dream yanked me toward him. I just barely evaded a mist of teargas.

Spinning around, I formed a tower of sharp crystals, blocking out the gas.

"We gotta find Bad," I said, looking around for him. He was no where to be seen, especially in all this smoke and fog.

Dream nodded, watching off into distance, "Yea-"

Suddenly, he dashed away from me, tackling a figure to the ground. An explosion erupted where they previously stood. I quickly ran over to join them.

"Are you alr-" Dream paused, "Techno?"

The wincing figure glanced up, pink hair matted against his face. His eyes widened.

"Watch out!" he yelled, pushing Dream aside. A flying missile flew just over their heads.

Jumping up, Techno grabbed both our arms and began yanking us away. Dream casted an illusion, disguising us to the guards. We were able to get past easily. Moving through the smog, we pulled into a clearing at the side of the building.

We watched in confusion as Techno began observing the wall. The corners of his lips pulled into a smirk.

"You guys need a way in, right?" he asked, turning to face us.

I nodded, "we do, actually."

His face brightened, "good. I don't owe Dream for saving me, then."

As if on cue, the wall behind him exploded, forming a middle-sized hole. We watched in awe.

"Just so you know, once I find Tommy, I'm leaving," he added, shooting us a distrustful look.

Dream smirked, "We know where he is."

For a moment, Techno looked shocked, "wait, really?"

I opened my mouth to tell him, but Dream stopped me.

"Once we're there, we'll tell you. In the mean time, you'll join us, right?"

On his face, was a smug grin. Techno clicked his teeth and said nothing. His body language made it clear, he was going to stick around.

I turned on my earpiece.

"A6d? We're in."

Bad's POV:
I had no idea where Skeppy and Dream were, only, I couldn't worry about that right now. People were being attacked.

"Get away!" I heard a yell from behind me. Spinning around, I saw a little boy, backing away from an armed guard. The man held an electrical baton.
