"Alice please, I need you, my love," That voice...
"Alice pl-"
"Alice, come on wake up," I feel someone nudging my shoulder. I look up to see Abby poking me, "You fell asleep." I look around me and see Abby and May looking at me worriedly. I see the teacher sitting at her desk, typing away on her computer, and the other students in my class working on the assignment. "Are you okay? You were out like a light."
"Yeah, I just haven't been sleeping well," I say, and then look back to the papers on my desk.

"Okay, so Abby will pick us up at 8 and we'll all head over. Sound good?" I hear Adam ask the group as I join them at our table.
"Alice, be ready at 8 on Saturday," Abby says.
"I'm not going to a stupid party," I roll my eyes.
"Come on it will so much fun!!" May exclaims.
"I'm not feeling up to it."
"The party's in 2 days, how do you know how you're going to feel then?" Adam asks.
"I just know," I shrug my shoulders.
"Alice, if I'm going, then you have to go," Jacob says.
Honestly, I don't feel like going anywhere. I'm lucky I woke up for school today. These dreams are draining me, day by day, and I can't take it. There's too many of them in such a short amount of time. And I can't forget that mystery voice calling out to me, begging me to help them or something. All I want to do is sleep, but I can't when I keep hearing voices and seeing things.
God, I sound crazy.
"You're going and that's final. We're going to have a fun time, get drunk, and party. I'm not taking 'no' for an answer," Adam says.
"Ugh fine, but you can't force me to have fun," I sigh.
About halfway through lunch, May and Abby went to the bathroom, and Jacob went to buy something, so Adam and I were left alone.
"Have you had any dreams since Monday?" He asks once Jacob was out of earshot.
"No," I shake my head.
"Don't lie to me, Alice."
"What do you want me to say? I have them every day, sometimes multiple times and within a few hours of each other. They won't go away and there's nothing to change that," I take a deep breath, after rushing everything out.
"Alice, please."
'Alice please, save me' I remember the voice.
"Don't."
"Don't what?" He snaps, "Alice, I'm trying to be patient, but I can't take this anymore."
"Can't take what anymore?" I ask.
"I-it doesn't matter" He rolls his eyes.
"You're such a hypocrite! You say that I have to tell you everything, but you can't even speak to me yourself!"
"FINE! I can't take watching the girl I love suffer. You are suffering, Alice and it hurts me to see you like this!" He whisper-yells.
"You don't mean that," he can't love me, it's impossible.
"I don't mean what Alice?"
"You don't love me. You can't. It's impossible to love me," I look down at the table.
