Third Person POV - 2 and a Half Hours After Midnight

Just as her body hits the floor, Ezekiel's pain dulls. His stiff body loosens, ever so slightly as he feels the agony fade. The wound in his chest slowly heals and he can feel his senses start to heighten.

And finally, after centuries of calling out to her, of begging her to save him...to heal him, he was free.

He lays there for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts and calm his thirst, and he finally stands up for the first time in centuries. He knows his love is there, fallen beside him, but he can't bring himself to look at her yet, scared of what he will see.

The image of her bloody body drained of life, scarred with cuts floods his thoughts. He finally looks over at her and gasps at the sight. Her fragile body lying there completely vulnerable, and the enchanted dagger beside her. His first urge is to sink his teeth into her, desperately needing to calm his bloodlust. He has tasted her before, always with her consent, but this time he couldn't. He's too thirsty, and fears that he won't be able to stop. The fact that shes laying there unconscious doesn't help matters either.

A sudden movement on the outside of the cave causes Ezekiel to whip his body around to the intruder.

He tried to search for a heartbeat, but only hears Alices slow, steady beat. He tries to hear for movements, but only hears the soft exhale from Alice. He's consumed by her and he can't pinpoint the intruder.

"A pleasure to see you, Sire," Frederick walks into the dark cave. Any other human would not be able to see because of the darkness but the vampires can see each other perfectly. Frederick pulls out a bottle, from his sack, out to Ezekiel. He's hesitant before taking it, unsure of his loyalty after all these years.

"If I were trying to kill you or keep you as a statue, I would have killed her. Drink." He hands the bottle of red liquid and Ezekiel takes it. He quickly drinks it, devouring it in seconds, his fangs extended. Once he finishes it, Frederick takes the empty bottle and puts it back in his sack. Ezekiel turns his attention back to Alice and crouches down beside her. He caresses her cheek, wanting her to wake, needing to see the women he loves alive and well. He takes the dagger beside her and hands it to Fredrick.

"It was enchanted to keep you stuck for eternity and you escaped centuries later. Your cousin is such an idiot." Frederick chuckles and puts it in his sack.

"She is spending the weekend with her friends in a cabin," Fredrick says, now beside Ezekiel.

"You have been trailing her?" Ezekiel speaks for the first time, his voice hoarse.

"Since the day she was born."

"Any troubles?"

"Your cousin is still ruling is that is what you are inferring. Yes, he was aware of her presence a few...centries back so I kept a closer watch. I also had a few loyal guards protecting her."

"Thank you, Frederick."

"It is not a problem sir."

Ezekiel scoops Alice in his arms, feeling her cold body against his. She instantly molds into his chest, trying to pull him close in her sleep. Alone, Ezekiel walks to the cabin, following the scent of her to the house. He reaches the glass door and is first puzzled by what it is and how it works. Upon analyzing it for a moment it figures how to slide it open, and he closes it behind him.

He sees the 4 teenagers asleep on couches and on the floor, smelling the alcohol they had consumed. The sent of Alice's duffle bag with her clothes leads them up the stairs, with his inaudible footsteps, and into a room with 2 twin beds.
