"Quick, let's find you a dress." Carrie pulled the two to Jayla's room.

After rummaging through all of Jayla's stuff, Carrie found the 'perfect' dress.
She was so excited for Jayla. She knew Chloe had reservations but from the moment she met Kaiden, she knew he's a good guy.
And Jayla liked him. She'd never let a guy come so close to her much less take her for a 'celebratory dinner' if she wasn't sure about him. Jayla had a closed circle.
Though not as closed as her twin, Jael but undeniably, the two were very private people.

She picked a thin strapped evening dress. That shade of black suited her hybrid skin tone and the knee length dress absolutely flattered her body.
Chloe styled her hair into a beautiful and simple updo ponytail with a princess braid. Carrie added a light touch of make up.

At exactly 7, Kaiden texted her.
K; Ready?
J; Yep. Will be down in 5

Jayla took the elevator down the building. She spotted Kaiden, looking effortlessly handsome in a maroon tux, leaning against his sleek black Austin Martin one-77.
'And I thought this wasn't a date.' Jayla said to herself

Kaiden was completely enthralled as Jayla descend the stairs and walked towards him. She looked absolutely enchanting. He hadn't seen her with makeup before but it couldn't compare to her natural beauty; it only enhanced it. Her gorgeous evening dress draped flawlessly over her body. Black never looked as captivating as it looked on Jayla that night. With the Afro princess braid across her forehead, she was a mesmerizing African Queen.

"Hey." She muttered coyly when she got to where he stood.
"Hey." He replied
"You look beautiful. I-I mean you always l-look beautiful but... oh my goodness, what am I saying? *sighs* You look gorgeous, Jayla."
Jayla chuckled.
"You cleaned up nice yourself." She commented and then her gaze moved to the Austin Martin. It was a beauty. Kaiden's eyes trailed her gaze.
"Like it?"
"Like it? I love it! I'd love to take the car for a drive some day."
"That can be arranged." He said and chuckled.

They got in and he drove off.
"So where do you want to go?" Kaiden posed a question.
"I don't know... some where not so fancy but just right for the occasion."
"Have anything in mind?"
"Frankies?"
"Why not The Gisstons?"
"If you had a place in mind, why ask?"
"I was hoping you'll say The Gisstons. C'mon it's the best restaurant in Boston. You could even try my mum's specialty."
"Well, I'll rather not."
"Why not?"
"Frankies' proceeds go to orphanages and so I'll have a good meal knowing I'm donating to charity. Where do your proceeds go? Women and booze?"
"I prefer the terms brothels and bars." He winked.
She looked at him with disgust.
"And where do you think you're going?" She quizzed as she noticed him taking the opposite direction to Frankies.
"To Gisstons."
"But-
"News flash petal, I'm in control of this wheel."
She blushed at the name and looked out the window. She didn't want him to see the effect his pet name had on her.

The Gisstons was Kaiden's mum's family business but it was run by his mum since none of his mum's brothers took interest in the restaurant. Gisston was Hailey's maiden name and with her husband's investment, The Gisstons has become second to none throughout Boston and Massachusetts as a whole.

He took her to a reserved spot on the rooftop of the restaurant. It had an amazing view of a well kept garden. The moon was evident in the dark sky with little twinkling stars here and there.
He recommended his mum's specialty and boy, was it finger licking good.
His mum's Shrimp Alfredo was to die for. She was a natural shrimp lover but those shrimps were on a whole new level; the shrimps were perfectly cooked and had a delightful sweet and spicy taste to them.

She made a mental note to go back there again with Chloe and Carrie. They'll love it.

She noticed Kaiden didn't drink wine or take in alcohol, he shared a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine with her. Was he pretending or is that the real Kaiden?

They had a mouth watering desert of Boston Cream Pie; it was a sweet golden sponge cake sandwiching thick custard. Boston was known for having the best, obviously- it's Boston Cream Pie.

They stood up and took in the view. They could see only to a couple of blocks ahead. As they stared into the emptiness of the sky, each lost in their own thoughts, Kaiden broke the silence.
"I know you're supposed to be my fake girlfriend for 3months, but I was hoping we could be friends." He reached for her hand as he disclosed.
"I don't see any reason why not?" She replied.
A smirk played on his lips.
"Jayla.... why are you helping me out? Why did you agree to this?"
"You didn't really give me a choice."
"You know we never really had a bidding agreement. So tell me petal, why do you want to help 'someone like me'?"
"Maybe because I know about Whitney."
His eyes nearly popped out in horror.
