Have you ever been left hanging? Like someone leaving you without even bidding a farewell? At least. It was like somebody's just dumping you off their life. And it hits hard. Real hard.

Well . . . I think I must jostle those thoughts away right now. I mustn't overthink of that. Who knows if there were more important things to do than replying to my messages.

"So, Sadie, where did your necklace came from? Love it," Janella's voice forced me to put an end to my thoughts.

All of a sudden, I had the urge to touch the pendant of my necklace so I did. I smiled mentally because I know that if I show them the smile on my lips after that question, they will surely tease me.

"Wait," Vince spoke before I could open my mouth to talk. "I think I saw that somewhere . . ." He continued, looking unsure.

"Sadie posted it on her IG story," Alexis mentioned. "Baka doon mo nakita."

Tumango ako bilang pagsang-ayon. "Oo nga."

Realization shot through his face after that. "Yeah, right."

The topic ended without me answering Janella. They didn't seem to remember so I just let it like that.

Nagpatuloy kami sa pag kain. Kaharap ko si Alexis so I could clearly see her movements from where I was sitting. I was a hundred percent sure that she was really, really awkward with the guy she likes sitting right next to her.

She's been glancing at Vince and then at us and then at Vince and then at us and then at Vince and then at us and then at Vince. Alexis even dropped her fork on the floor because she was really conscious at Vince's presence. Good thing, no one noticed it. They were all busy talking and the floor was carpeted.

I needed to simply look away on her direction and pretend that I wasn't aware of it for her to not feel embarrassed.

That's the difficult thing about having feelings for someone when you both started as friends. You have to act normal because most of the times he's just there. You couldn't confess your feelings because first and the scariest things of all is that if he doesn't feel the same way and it might ruin the friendship you planted for years.

"Is that Bianca?" Vince's voice caught our attention

After hearing that name, all my senses got aware. I don't know.

And then I realized that I was staring at her already.

Bianca was standing at the entrance, obviously looking for a vacant table. With her were two girls. I could still remember their faces.

"Bianca? Was that the bitch who slapped you, Sadie?"

I facepalmed, mentally. Oh, God.
