newsies preferences :)

a/n:
This isn't the ONLY way you guys hug, but it's an all around favorite between you both. I think this chapter is just so cute to write so I'm doing it :)
Also, this is gonna be the only chapter out today :)

jack:
You guys hug with both of your arms around each other's waist/torso back area thing. It makes you feel connected to each other and he likes to tease you a bit by giving you a quick kiss on the neck.

davey:
You like when he lays on you when you're sitting and when you lay on him when he's sitting. Often times, one of you is reading a book so by doing this you either can read it together, or read it to the other person. Whoever is laying down normally falls asleep on the other though :)

racetrack:
Sometimes you'll just come up to him while he's playing poker just to give him a hug and you'll just wrap you arms around his neck hugging him until he gives you his full attention. He'll just place his cards down and focus on you until you let go, and the newsies just roll with it, because they know that if they try to stop you, you'll just give them the death glare because sometimes the baby gambler just needs a break.

spot:
You two often watch the sunrise and sunset together. If you are hugging like this but not doing that then you're looking out at the water or just in bed talking. It's a nice hug that's fit for really any occasion.

kid blink:
(This may or may not be my favorite and that's why I chose it for Blink😂) You feel that if you legs are wrapped around him, the hug is more secure, which means you feel more secure. He loves how you sometimes just see him with the other newsies and you'll just jump on him, hugging him like this, and he doesn't even care that the newsies are able to see this because he's with his love in a comforting embrace.

crutchy:
You spend a lot of your time comforting the baby so sometimes he just wants to comfort, pamper, and take care of you. This hug is one of the ways he feels he is making sure you're okay. Even though he doesn't always think of himself as strong, he knows you feel safe in his arms, so that makes him happy.

mush:
Mush is very romantic and mushy (hence the name lol), so he loves to just surprise hug you from behind and give you loads of kisses on your head, you shoulders, your neck, basically anything in that area hat he can reach. You enjoy this too (obviously) and often times, it makes you laugh.

skittery:
You guys like to be very close to each other and just sit in silence enjoying the other's presence. By hugging like this, you feel the most content with each other.
