Keralis' POV

I carried on constructing office buildings and roads, quickly expanding into Beef's area.
I had to keep moving Carlos and his natural habitat further away from my city so I could expand even further. Shhh, don't tell Beef! I'm sure he won't notice anything.
My humble abode (office) was in the process of being decorated with diamond blocks- for opulence, as Beef would say. I sat in my high-backed chair, taking in the room in all it's shiny blue glory.
I still had one thing left to figure out- lighting.
Glowstone? Nope, too yellow. Sea lanterns? Too big and too cheap. No... I needed something more opulent.
I furrowed my eyebrows in frustration of not being able to find the perfect lamps.
This was something I was going to have to come back to later. Sighing, I got up, going back to flying around my base while thinking of more things to add to it.
For some reason lately, I had been having a weird lack of motivation to build pointless things everywhere. They had begun to feel pointless.
Ever since that weird moment at the portal, everything had felt... I don't k-now- off, I guess.
I'm not sure why, but I found myself flying toward Doc's base. It was like I was on autopilot or something, which was weird, cause I didn't remember coming here often- except to go Doc's basement casino. Which- for the record, sucked. It ripped me off! What a scam!
I didn't fight the autopilot mode I was in, though. Maybe my gambling habits were taking over my subconscious.
I landed in front of Doc's mansion, and instantly felt something was wrong. Was the door in the wrong place?
I squinted at the mansion, trying to figure out what was wrong with it.
After a few minutes of staring at Doc's base, I decided there was nothing wrong with it, other than a lack of details. It needed more lamps. And plants.
Then, I felt like I was being pulled along again.
I walked around to the back of the mansion and went down a gently sloped hill, my feet having a mind of their own as they dragged me along.
I walked for a little while, wondering where I was going. Before long, something massive came into view as I approached it- whatever it was.
Okay... so I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this.
I was staring wide-eyed (Aren't I always!) at a castle that reminded me of Evil X's floating base the last time he was here.
I had heard that Evil X was back; he had come through that weird portal.
The only big difference between the castles was that this one was not chilling in mid-air. It was just this huge monstrosity in the middle of- I don't even k-now.
Something felt wrong. I mean, other than the fact that Evil X was back and was setting up base in Doc's backyard.
I felt like... something else should be here.
Maybe- someone else?
I sighed and shook my head. Why was I even here?
Feeling confused, tired... and sort of incomplete somehow, I flew back to my base before I had an encounter with the evil, heartbroken grouch.
