AN: Yes, it's another Christmas chapter, but I couldn't help myself! I just love making fluffy chapters! And, don't worry, if you don't like these. This will most likely be my last Christmas chapter. Enjoy!

Remus was woken up christmas morning by kiss from the most beautiful woman in the universe, to him at least. His eyes slowly opened and Anna grinned an excited, toothy smile, "Merry Christmas, Remy!" He rubbed his eyes, "Merry Christmas, love." She bounced up with enthusiasm, "Come on! We've got to get ready so we can have Christmas with the kids!" He sat up and stretched, amusement dancing in his gaze, "Yes, ma'am." It was kind of funny how childish Anna sometimes got on Christmas morning. Most adults loose there enthusiasm for the holiday after a certain period of time, but not his Red. They had even put up a Christmas tree of their own. Not a big one, but a modest one with a kooky assortment of ornaments.

Anna went to her closet (they had separate closets) to pick out her outfit when she felt her husbands arms wrap around her waist. He spoke softly into her ear, "Why don't we do our gifts for each other first, Red?" She kissed his cheek and nodded, "Good idea."

So they each picked up the other's gift and sat on their bed. Remus went to open his first, wanting Anna's to be last. She but her lip nervously, "I'm not sure if you'll like it. I didn't spend as much money on it and-" He smiled and cut her off gently, "I will love anything you give me, because I know you put a lot of thought into it." He reached into the gift bag and pulled out a framed picture. The moving image in the frame made him want to grin proudly, laugh, and cry all at once.

It was a photo from their very small wedding. It was when he 'kissed the bride.' It had been a magical moment. He had ended up picking her her up and spinning her half way through the kiss. Her wedding dress fanned out as they twirled, making Anna look like a princess with the dress and her curled red hair. They looked so happy and content and carefree.

It was the most beautiful picture Remus had ever seen.

After his gift it was Anna's turn. She opened a red box and gasped as her green eyes met a pair of innocent blue ones. She scooped the little ball of fluff out of the box and hugged her to her chest, "Oh, Remus, she's adorable! I love her! Thank you!" She had always wanted a cat but, for whatever reason, she never did. The kitten was simply gorgeous. It's fur bright red orange and milky white.

The witch set the feline down and it stumbled a bit before pouncing on the ribbon from the box. The redhead giggled at the sight before leaning into her husband and kissing him on the cheek.

Alas, they eventually had to stand up and get dressed to go see Harry and the others.

Anna was very reluctant to leave the kitten behind but she didn't want to risk loosing her new feline friend. So, she set up some food and water bowls before leaving Holly, her new cat, behind.

Anna practically skipped down the stairs in her red turtle neck, black belt, and jeans. She also had on red Santa hat and candy cane patterned socks (a gift Dumbledore from a previous Christmas). Remus followed behind her, shaking his head in exasperation.

-Gryffindor Common Room-
The Lupins had all of their gifts for the kids taken downstairs to be unwrapped. The house elves had taken care of it. Anna still thought it was hilarious that they had actual elves deliver the presents, even if they were a completely different kind of elf.

They had to wait for the kids to arrive but, as it turned out, they didn't have to wait for very long. In less than ten minutes, they heard Harry and Ron dash down from their dorm and into the room with giant grins on their faces. A feeling of warmth spread through the aunt as she watched her nephew's eyes fill with joy and excitement. But, to the surprise of the Lupins, he didn't run to his stack of gifts immediately. First he ran over to Anna and hugged her. She ruffled his hair, "Merry Christmas, kiddo." He returned the greeting and repeated the action with Remus before heading for the tree.
