Louis’ POV
Where is she going to be?
Surely not her Mums house, that’s too obvious…
If she doesn’t want me to find her she definitely wouldn’t go there.
Um…
Her sister’s house?
Possible but unlikely.
Plus I don’t know where she lives.
Um…
Where has she said to me that she likes?
That’s hard to say because we’ve talked so much, she’s mentioned so many places.
I scrunched my eyes closed and tapped my fingers against the steering wheel where I’m sitting in a McDonald’s car park, to try and bring up memories I have of places she might go.
Shopping! She loves shopping!
But I doubt she’d go shopping at a time like this…
The pub?
If I were her I would definitely not go to work, but I know she loves it there. She told me once that if she wanted to escape her problems she would take an extra shift and immerse herself in talking to customers. Plus she hasn’t been to work in over a month; she’d have loads of hours to catch up on!
Omg why didn’t I think of this before!
I switched on the ignition and pulled out of the McDonalds onto the motorway.
~-~
I’m surprised I could find my way back to this quaint little pub, seeing as we only went twice, and when we did I didn’t drive either times.
But I did find it, and now I am sitting in the driver’s seat of my Audi, staring at the front door from my parking space, trying to buck up the courage to go and speak to Grace.
You would think that as 1/5 of One Direction I would have confidence to spare, especially talking to girls, seeing as I have thousands screaming my name when I just go out to buy milk – hence the reason I have my Tesco’s delivered more often than not now. But you would be wrong, my hands are clammy just at the thought of the possible rejection.
C’mon Louis you pussy!
Stop acting like a twelve year old girl and go and see her!
I opened the car door, got out and locked it behind me before walking slowly to the door of ‘Julies’.
Just open the door now…
So close…
I gingerly pushed the door open and was met by the familiar sounds and smells of when we came before, nothing seems to have changed.
Except from the fact that everything has changed.
Now I am swallowing nervously, wringing my hands, scouring the bar for any signs of the bright red hair for more important reasons than to get her number. Now I have something to lose. And I don’t want to lose her.
