Monday.
.

The interviewer was older, but looked wiser. He had a grey bush in his face and an equal bush on his head coupled with me searching for his lips in all of it.

"Good morning, you must be Leo?"

"Yes, Leo Murray." It was showtime and I wasn't going to ruin it. Regardless of whether Leo ran away or not, Havard has always been his dream school and I won't let it go down in history for him not to get in.

"Good, sit down. You both can leave now." He directed at my parents. His green shirt was wrinkled like his black trousers, but I couldn't say anything about that.

"We'll see you soon Leo." Dad said firmly, making sure I remembered my name was indeed Leo.

"So, tell me about yourself Leo."

"Well, my name is R-Leo Murray, I have an IQ of  225. I have a younger sister-"

"No, not that. I mean," He sat up in the comfortable chair, assumably pursed his lips and leaned closer on the table. "What do you love to do?"

Oh no. "I have an IQ of 225-"

"I know that already, I know of your IQ and your awards in numerous things, but what do you love to do? I don't want something scripted, something fresh."

"I love Physics?"

"Is that a question?" He raised a busy brow. "I know you have awards in Physics competitions, Leo."

"I love- I love..." I closed my mouth, ran a wet tongue over it and closed my eyes. "I don't know."

"You don't know what you love to do?" He cocked his head intimidating me more than he knew he was. "Surely there must be some type of hobby or an interest?"

"I love to read." I love to read but Leo might not and I'm meant to impersonate him.

"Everyone loves to read, that's why they are in Havard." He leaned back on the chair.

"No, I love reading novels. I love Scientific Fiction with fantasy characters going on mysterious journeys." The man smiled, or at least the bush went up.

"Okay, what else apart from reading?"

"I love children." I sighed.

"Your applying to study Physics and Chemistry, why do you like children?" He was getting suspicious and my voice was starting to weaken.

"They are the best gift in the world."

"That's all Leo." The man clicked something on the paper and flicked his wrist at me.

"What? But we haven't-"

"I said, that's all." He looked at me the looked back down. "Thank you for your time, Leo, we'll get back to you."

I got in. He was smiling deeply at me. I got in. I got in for Leo, but I got in for being me. I peeked at the paper and saw him tick the accepted box with a green pen before I left.

"Well?" My dad asked.

"He said he will get back to me." My mood went low.

"That means you got in! I got into Havard! Oh, I'm so proud of you." Under different circumstances, I would have been happy my dad was hugging me in a long time, but I wasn't happy. I just wanted to go home.

"Can we go home now?"

"Yes, yes. Let's go."

He chattered all about the looks on the rest if the family's faces when they realised I got into Havard, he didn't even talk about Leo, not one bit. Why should he anyway, he got a replacement for Leo: me.

I sat straight and looked at dad sitting beside me with a wide grin on his face, then looked at my mom humming in delight.

"I hate both of you." I didn't go them time to think about what I said, I jumped to the wheel and swung us to an incoming truck.

At least Leo's safe somewhere.
