~Sam~

I made a muffled sound at the back of my throat when I felt Ash kiss me furiously. I was so dead. He wrapped his arms around my hips and pulled me closer, deepening the kiss. I tentatively put my arms on his shoulders. He pulled away and glared at me, while I was breathing hard.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked quietly. Now I was getting angry. I mean I had to go for a reason. I wouldn't just ditch him and his tone told me that he knew the reason.

"In my defense it was urgent. He had typed red code for god's sake. How could I not go? You could try to act supportive once in a while." I said coldly. I had promised him that we would talk about our wedding arrangements, but I had to go at the last minute.

He didn't say anything so I continued, "You have to trust me. I had to go. I don't have to explain myself to you and if you had your phone on you, you would've known. I didn't get time to call you but I texted you." I waited for him to say something but he didn't so I just rolled my eyes and turned on my heels to leave when I felt his fingers wrap around my wrist, stopping me in my tracks. I turned furiously.

"What now? Got some other things to throw at me?"

"I'm sorry." He said in a small voice. I was taken aback. I thought he would say something else but he didn't. I huffed.

"It's gonna take a little more than that." He pulled me close and softly kissed my lips. "I had a nightmare today and I thought it was coming true. I'm sorry." He said.

I smiled and kissed his cheek in. "It's ok. So let's talk about our wedding."

We climbed downstairs to find Sid and Ashley laughing about something. I smiled. I sat down on my sofa with Ash beside me. I picked up the a catalog from the pile on my coffee table. I had folded the pages which I had thought contained perfect wedding venues. We were having two weddings. One Indian wedding and another one Christian.

I showed my options for the Indian wedding to Ash. There were various options but I had narrowed it down to two. One of them was granderous and big while the other one was medium sized and beautiful. "I think the smaller one. It won't attract much attention while it is perfect." He said looking at them and then he looked at me. I smiled and pressed my lips to his, giving him a chaste kiss.

"Whoa kids, get a room." We drew away and my face felt hot. My dida had seen us kiss. She grinned seeing my embarrassment.

"Oh honey, it's ok. I've done it before tons of times. It's fine." She said flapping her hand.

"Dida not right now. Anyway how's this location?" I asked, trying to change the topic. She looked at the picture over my shoulder and nodded approvingly. "Perfect. What about the Christian one?"

I looked at Ash. "It's his decision." I said looking back at dida. She turned her attention to Ash.

"Well I have narrowed it down to two. I'm just confused between two things. Beach or church?"

"I think church because there too much sunlight which is bad for your skin." Dida said stroking my cheek slightly. I looked at her, quirking my eyebrow at her. She raised her hands in surrender and shrugged. I huffed and turned to Ash.

"I'd love a beach wedding. Anyway the place I showed you was Hotel Plaza. It's pretty good right?"

"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Ashley said coming over and sitting beside me.

"Well about the wedding locations. The Indian wedding is at Hotel Plaza and the other one, well I don't know."

"I was thinking Barbados. You know beach and stuff." Ash said shrugging and putting his arm around my shoulder.

"But its gonna cost a lot flying everyone there. How about Goa? It's nearer and no passports." Dida suggested. Ash thought for a moment.

"Ok. As long as there's beach." He said, kissing my cheek.

"Now all we have left is clothes and jewellery. Don't worry, you don't have to come along if you don't want to." I added looking at Ash and Sid.

"No I want to." Ash said stubbornly. Sid smiled and shook his head.

"I'll come too then."

"Ok so we'll be needing a lot of clothes and we have to buy for many people. No western clothes allowed. Only Indian clothes." Dida warned looking at all of us.

"But for the other wedding, we need western clothes." We all chuckled. Hmmm. It felt so good, sitting there with them enjoying and laughing. If only mom was here then everything would have fallen into place. It would have been perfect.
