I looked up at her from the note. "Who do you think it might be?"

"I don't know. No idea." She said, shaking her head. She seemed nervous and was fidgeting with the hem of her top. I covered her hand with mine, stopping her fidgeting. I looked straight into her eyes.

"You're hiding something. What is it?" I asked quizzically, taking a step towards her. I held her eyes with mine for a long time before she looked away.

She sighed in defeat. "Ok fine. But please don't be angry." I nodded reassuringly. She took a deep breath before continuing. "I'm not a hundred percent sure that it is him but he is the only one I can remember who sends out notes like this. His name is Garix Arizona. He was the leader of the biggest mafia gang in the world. So I was send to eliminate him. I thought I did but I guess I wasn't thorough enough. Now that I'm saying out loud, many underworld lords who we know were taken care of have appeared. There's Vikram, then Ben Smith Australian underworld lord and Niya Crawford, an English drug and weapons' dealer. Now him." She shook her head and looked away, deep in thought. Actually she was right. Now that she had said it, all those incidents were true.

"Also," she hesitated, "he is my ex-boyfriend." My head snapped at her direction. She looked at me with uncertainty and a drop of fear evident in her eyes. My hands balled into fists and I clenched my jaw.

"You went out with a freaking mafia gang leader. What were you thinking? It's totally inappropriate and also dangerous. Also, why didn't you tell me before!?" I shouted at her, not being able to stop myself. She had a look of disbelief on her face which changed into a look of guilt.

"I didn't know.."

"How could you not know he was a freaking mafia gang leader? Are you really that stupid and just a really bad spy not to the facts about your so-called boyfriend?"

"Hey don't forget that I married Azeem Hamla's, the most powerful and dangerous of all underworld lords and mafia gang leaders, son who himself didn't know about his father. Shouldn't you too have known about your bloodlines? So that too makes you no better than him!" She retorted. My eyes hardened and I clenched my fists.

"Ok." I whispered nodding my head and opened the door to get out of that room. She tried to stop me but I slammed the door at her face. I marched towards the staircase and climbed down the stairs, towards the lobby all the while Sam's words resonating in my ears. I made my way towards the reception.

I forced a smile when I saw Chloe at the reception. "Can you tell me where the gym is?" I inquired casually.

She smiled. "It's on the third floor sir."

"Merci." And without waiting for her response, I turned on my heels and climbed the staircase towards the third floor. There were quite a few people here but they were all humans. I made my way towards a blonde-headed muscular guy with unnaturally white teeth and shocking amber eyes.

"Bonjour." He greeted.

"Bonjour. Where is the other gym? The one for, you know, supernatural people." He seemed taken aback by my words. For confirmation I swirled my finger and a small wave of water appeared on my finger tip and it disappeared as soon as it had appeared.

"Please follow me." He said in a confedential tone and began to walk towards the back of the gym. I followed him until he stopped in front of a door that read broom closet. He opened the and stepped aside to let me in.

"Have a great day sir." He said and closed the door. The gym was huge and divided into three sections. Weapons' area, Power practicing area and Mortals' area. Mortals' area basically had all the other mortal exercising instruments only way more advanced. The Mortals'area was empty, so I made my way towards the treadmill and turned it on, setting the speed on 50 miles an hour. I started running and all kinds of thoughts swirled in my head. I did feel guilty walking out on her. She was right in a way. I was Hamla's son. Still am. I could run away or choose not to accept the fact that he was my father but I couldn't deny blood relations. I was his flesh and blood. I felt guilty for not hearing her out. I felt guilty for shouting at her. When I heard her say that she had went out with that mafia gang leader my blood boiled with anger and rage, but I should've heard her out. I shouldn't jump to conclusions just like this. I didn't want our relationship to be this fragile. I wanted to work things out.

So I took a deep breath and turned off the treadmill. I walked out of the gym and towards the staircase. I climbed up the stairs and made my way my way towards our room. My heart was hammering in my chest as I thought about her reaction. Would she be broken or mad or guilty? I shook my head to get these thoughts out of my head and took a deep breath before opening the door. The sight in front of me was enough to stop me in my tracks. I opened my mouth but no words came out of my mouth.
