~Ash~

We were finally in Paris. There were people milling around and speaking in French. The fashion capital of the world and also looove. It was great. The sun was shining bright. At least that's what I thought because we were at the baggage counter, waiting for our luggage.

I was jerked away from my thoughts when Sam snapped her fingers in front of my face. I looked down at her to see she had a frown on her face. "Stop spacing out, would ya? Anyway, we got out luggage so let's get going." She said, pushing the trolley which had our luggage.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "When did our luggage come?"

She sighed. "While you were gawking at the airport, I got the job done. Now move it." She ordered, pushing the trolley at me so that I would start walking.

"Ooh feisty. Here let me help." I walked around the trolley to her side, to help her push the trolley. Though she didn't actually need my help. But still, it was nice gesture. She smiled up at me, her eyes a brilliant shade of green.

"Man I never get your eyes."

She chuckled. "Why?"

"Well I always thought your eyes changed into purple when you're happy but now they're green."

She chuckled. "It's actually confusing. Even to me. My eyes change into both green and purple when I'm happy."

"Oh." I nodded in understanding. I kissed her cheek and pushed the trolley effortlessly through the travalators.

Once outside, Sam called a cab. Because she was the only one who spoke French. We both put the luggage in the dikki and got into the car. "Where to Madame?" The driver asked.

"To the Paris France Hotêl please." He nodded and drove us to our destination. It wasn't really far from the airport. It was just a ten minute drive.

The hotel was grand with big automatic glass sliding doors with two security guards flanking it. We have our luggage to the bell boy and the security guards used the body scanners to scan us. When they were satisfied with the little beep sound, they let us in.

We were greeted at the reception by a blonde haired woman in her late twenties with a crisp black blazer and pencil skirt. She smiled at us. "Bonjour." She said.

Her name tag read Chloe. " Bonjour Chloe. We have a reservation for the honeymoon suite in the name of Mr and Mrs.James." I stated, stealing a quick glance at Sam as she had decided not to change her name after marraige.

She checked her computer by clicking few keys on her keyboard and looked up at me. She smiled. "Yes I found it. It is on the sixth floor with the view of the Eiffel tower. Your room will be ready in a few minutes. Your luggage will be delivered soon. Please wait in the lounge. We will inform you once your room is ready." She informed. I nodded and sat down on the plush sofa of the lounge.

Sam turned to me. "Mr and Mrs.James?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Hey I thought your name should be there too. I couldn't give them Mr.James and Mrs.Johnson."

"That's what I did for my part of the honeymoon." She said quietly. "But that doesn't mean I don't love you." She said quickly, looking at me. I smiled and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

"I love you too." I whispered before kissing her lips softly again. I pulled away to smile at her. Even after the long flight, she looked beautiful.

Someone cleared their throat behind us. I turned to see Chloe smiling at us. "Your room is ready. If you will follow me." She said and started walking towards the elevator. We followed her and once we were inside the elevator she pressed the button with the number 6 written on it.

We followed her down a well lit corridor with tapestries on either sides of the wall. She stopped at the door with had a small number plate with 605 engraved on it. She opened the door and stood aside for us to enter. She slid the card in the card holder and the lights came on. The large bed in the middle of the room was a heart-shaped one with rose petals scattered on it. There was a closet right beside the door and the bathroom had a bathtub with two fluffy towels perfectly folded. There were different kinds of bath salts and tiny soaps, shampoo and mosturizer bottles. There was a vase on the desk which had roses in it. You could see the Eiffel tower clearly from the balcony. There was a mini coffee table and two leather couches on opposite sides of the table.

"Please enjoy your stay." Chloe said and exited the room, closing the door behind her. They had already bought our luggage and had placed it in the foot of our bed.

"This is amazing." Sam turned and encircled her arms around my neck kissing me softly. I gripped her waist and pulled her closer deepening the kiss.

"Did you like it?"

"I loved it. I'm gonna go freshen up okay?" I nodded. She removed her hidden weapons and handed them to me. Then she disappeared into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. I didn't want to spoil the bed so I sat at the edge of the bed and took off my shoes. I took them and opened the closet and placed my shoes on the lowest rack. There was a safe inside so I opened it and placed all the weapons mine and hers in the safe and locked it with a difficult code.

"Ash." I turned around to see Sam standing there, her face pale and a confused expression on her face. I frowned with concern.

"Honey are you okay? What is it?" I asked walking closer to her. She handed me a dagger stained with red at the tip. I looked at it to see it was blood. I looked up at Sam to say something when she handed me a piece of paper.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I'm back brand new baby,
Watch out for me.
Next time you ain't gonna be so lucky,
Cause next time you will be on your deathbed..........

Jusqu'á la prochaine fois.
