~Sid~
"What?! You told her?! Why, why, why would you do that to me?!" I shouted into the phone. I could not believe her.
"Hey it was bound to happen sometime. You were being such a baby about telling her. So I did. Now stop whining and man up. Also I have a flight to catch. Talk to you later. Bye." She said and the line went dead shortly after. I grunted in frustration. I sat down angrily on my bed and raked my fingers through my hair.
I took a deep breath. Sam was right. I was afraid that she would not feel the same way but I knew she was right.
Ashley~
My jaw dropped to the floor. I looked at Ash and then Sam. What? Sid likes me? Okay there was gotta be some mistake.
"Okay we're getting late. We'll call you once we board the plane. Ok? Bye." Ash said and both of them bolted out of the door. I got over my initial shock and plastered a smile across my face. That could wait. I got out of the car and helped them to unload their suitcases. I hugged each of them and as they stepped inside the airport and out of my sight was when I started panicking. Okay it was bad enough I had break my best friend's brother's heart who also happened to be a very good friend of mine. I got into the car and started at the starting wheel.
I also couldn't date him. First: I did not feel the same, second: I have a dark past. My past would not let me be happy. My past that only Sam and Ash knew too well. I grunted in anger and frustration. What was I supposed to do? I had to tell Sid.
I pulled out of the airport and tore through the streets, towards his house. I didn't know what I was thinking. My body was acting on impulse. I pulled up in front of the door to see Sid walking out of the door. He was wearing a blue shirt with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing heavily corded muscles on his forearms. His hair was tousled and I had this sudden to feel his soft hair and tangle my hands in them.
He seemed surprised to see me and walked up to me, tapping on my window. I cracked open my window. The sun made his blue eyes sparkle. The soft breeze whipped his face, blowing his hair away. He looked mesmerising. I realised I was staring and I looked away, my face feeling hot.
"Hey you okay?" Sid said in that deep, husky voice of his. I think I just had a tiny orgasm.
I turned to look at him. My heart did a little somersault and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I buried them inside and forced a smile. "Nothing much. Hey remember I said we need to get you to the club so you could hook up?"
He nodded. "Well then what you're waiting for hooker boy? Hop right in."
He stopped short. "Wait, right now? Don't you think it's kinda early?"
I glanced at my wrist watch and then at myself. I was wearing a simple white t-shirt with a mid-thigh jeans skirt and my favourite black peeptoes. I could change my look. My wrist watch showed it was four in the afternoon.
"It's okay. It'll probably take you time to get accustomed to it, so don't delay and get in." I urged him. He sighed and got into the passenger seat. I took off my hair tie and fixed up my hair. I pulled out my favourite red lipstick from my bag and dabbed it on my lips. I fixed my t-shirt by tying the hem of it together. I rolled up the sleeves a little and dabbed a little lipstick on my cheeks and eyelids and smudged them together.
"Now that's what I call a real transformer." He remarked chuckling. He looked good when he smiled. I stepped on my gas and drove out of the forest to the nearest club which was about ten miles away. Sam had taken me there saying it's a club only for supernatural people. The name literally said it all. Supernatural Night Club. To normal people it was nothing. Just an old crumbling building but to us it was the best nightclub.
I stopped in front of the club and gave my keys to the valet. The vampire guards felt both of us down for any weapons or illegal objects. When they found none, they opened the door for us to enter. The place looked a little empty but still full of life, alcohol and music. I went to the bar and ordered a whisky on the rocks. There were many boys eyeing me but none caught my eye. It was quite contrary to the first time I came here with Sam when I was drooling over the boys.
I saw a particular guy with unnaturally black hair and flouroscent blue eyes. He smirked at me. I smiled and looked around to see Sid talking to some girl. My blood boiled with anger and jealousy. That whore was wearing a hot pink tube top with torn denim shorts and shocking red stilettos. Her lips were a shade of neon pink. She was smiling flirtatiously and touched his shoulder more than a few times.
Then I felt a hand snake up my torso. "Hey beautiful." I turned to see a pair of blue eyes staring back at me. It was that guy from earlier. I smiled.
"Hi I'm Jagdish Hussain. A warlock. You are?" He had a different accent. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Then again all warlocks did.
"I'm Ashley McCarter. Vampire and also part dragon rider." I said taking a sip of my whiskey.
He leant in closer to my ear and whispered huskily. "Wanna go somewhere else?"
