Christian loved Lissa Dragomir, Queen of the Moroi, but sometimes he thought she was a little insane. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, it sometimes made him love her more. It was just when she started to rub her palms in anticipation he started to freak out a bit.

They were in the throne room, waiting for her guests to arrive. Christian didn't know how to feel about the meeting exactly, he had liked the shadowhunters (well most of them, Jace was a bit of an ass...), but whatever Lissa was planning was... weird. He hoped Lissa had a good reason for this. He would stand by her regardless, but a good reason would make it easier.

"What are you doing?" He asked sitting down in the considerably smaller chair next to the throne,"You look like a villain in a cheesy movie."

"No I don't! I'm just excited that's all." To his delight she stopped. Christian had expected the worst for them when Lissa became queen. It wasn't that he didn't try or anything, he just didn't know if it was something she could handle. A day after she was crowned he found her at his door frantic that he would run off. He realized then that what they had wasn't going to fade like his previous relationships. They were permanent.

"Well you definitely have a strange way of showing it... Speaking of strange are you ever going to tell us what is going on?" Christian motioned to Rose who was stationed in the corner of the room. He could see a trace of a smile dance across her features. He would never get used to Rose standing quietly in a corner.

Beside her was her boyfriend and his guardian Dimitri Belikov. Dimitri and he had become quite close in the past couple of weeks. It was hard for both of them to be away from Lissa and Rose when they went to Lehigh and he was glad they had each other. He would never admit it though, Rose had already called them adorable.

"Sorry, you guys'll have to wait like everyone else."

"What is this, Christmas?"

"Well I wouldn't say that, but-"Lissa was cut off by the sound of voices behind the door. It opened to reveal a very well dressed group of shadowhunters (and a warlock, Christian tended to forget, though he didn't know how he possibly could). Lissa stood up and Christian followed her lead.

In response the majority of the group attempted to bow, Christian guessed manners wasn't in the shadowhunter curriculum. The only one who didn't get a smirk from him was Magnus Bane, though it made sense considering he probably lived when formalities were the normality.

"Welcome to Court." Lissa said pleasantly, "It's so wonderful to see you guys after all this time."

"It hasn't been that long, but recent events may suggest otherwise..." Magnus said gesturing widely. Christian had always thought him as eccentric and he did not disappoint today with his crimson and gold tuxedo and matching glitter.

Alec snorted. Now he was someone that Christian had particularly bonded with. It wasn't in that way of course, he was very with Magnus to Christian's surprise (Magnus didn't seem like his type, but Christian was never good at predicting those kind of things...). Alec had a sense of humor that Christian thought the world need more of. They weren't the completely the same, but had related on a lot of things when on the cruise. Christian hoped his return wouldn't make Belikov jealous.

"Yes it would seem... Though don't worry it has come as a surprise to me as well," Lissa sat down and nodded to the chairs in front of the throne,"Please sit. You guys don't have to treat me so regally I am still the same person you met on that boat."

"How did you even become queen?" Clary blurted out. Christian smirked, sometimes that girl had no self control. Christian liked her for that, it reminded him of Rose.

Lissa smiled, but Christian could see that this was not what she wanted to discuss. "It's such a long story, I don't think we have enough time, but it's definitely a story I think you guys deserve to hear..." Leave it to Lissa to smooth that over.

"Time? You act like we're in a business meeting or something..." Simon commented. Christian felt his eyes widen. He was no longer a vampire... Simon had been the first un-hostile Strigoi his friends and he had the pleasure of meeting. They found that if a human was turned into a Strigoi(the common Shadow World vampire) there was a big chance that the Strigoi would act normal- or in other words like a like a Moroi . It was a new concept to grasp and took Christian and the gaurdians a long time to accept it.

Lissa went through a lot of trouble getting permission for him to not be staked on sight. She had even considered putting make up and color contacts on Simon when he had arrived. Now thinking back on it Christian assumed she had been notified beforehand.

In that moment he noticed how much it did not faze him. It made perfect sense that these righteous shadowhunters found a way to cure even the most damned. But how? The Nephilim didn't exactly have spirit users on hand... Christian resisted the urge to ask.

"Well believe it or not you were not just sent here to pay respect. I have a plan I want to pitch to you." The shadowhunters looked at each other in confusion. Christian stifled a laugh. Lissa gave him a glare.

He shrugged,"You're kind of acting ridiculous."

"I am not, this is serious Christian!"

Isabelle cleared her throat.

"Anyways... I feel that the Moroi Court and the Clave have been lived along side one another apart for too long. This rivalry between the guardians and the Nephilim is quite absurd and I have found that we both face a common issue. We both face dark forces, dark forces that need to be obliterated. And soon those forces will corner us and cooperation will be inevitable."

"Now many solutions to this problem have arisen for the Moroi, one involving Moroi willingly using their magic to help guardians. And as much as I think that is the most sensible answer I don't see why we can't go further. If we work together, Moroi, dhampir, Nephilim, together we would be unstoppable. All of our problems would be solved, don't you think?"

Christian stared at his girlfriend in amazement. Was it possible that Lissa was the queen to lead the Moroi to peace? Christian felt pride swell in his chest. She was going to do it, Lissa was going to do it. He looked behind him at Rose. She was red in the face and had a hand over her mouth.

"No I don't mean to offend you, but do not think that is a good idea at all."

Christian whipped his head around. The person who had spoken was none other than Jace Herondale.
