i yawn as i scroll down my twitter timeline, finding nothing entertaining anymore.
i check the time on my phone, and it's already well past 1 am. damn it, i told myself i was going to sleep early tonight.
just as i was about to turn my phone off, i receive a message from luke.
i click on it at a dangerously fast rate, cringing once i realized how quickly i clicked on it.

i don't know whether to smile or scowl at his message. he texted me goodnight awhile ago at 11pm, but i guess i forgot to reply since i was watching a movie.

my eyes widen. my heart starts to beat fast as i read luke's three consecutive messages.
"you need to stand out. the girls that stand out for luke are those that seem different. those who he double-texts."

"yup. it means he's interested and that he's more excited to talk to you than the other girls he may be talking to."
