I sat on the edge of the bed as I pulled my shirt over my head. The sound of Bellamy groaning quietly in the bed behind me caught my attention. As I stood, I felt him grab my arm and pull me back in bed. I let out a laugh as I fell on top of him. "Come on. We've gotta get ready. We have to take the rocket fuel to Raven and Abby on the island."
"I think they can wait just a little longer," the boy said as he kissed me. I kissed back, my lips hovering over his as I pulled away. I was silent for a moment before a smirk formed on my lips.
"Okay, but make it quick."
With that, I straddled Bellamy's waist, pulling my shirt over my head. I pulled Bellamy into another kiss as he flipped us over so he was on top.

"Sectors three, four, and five sustained the most damage," Monty explained to Kane, Roan, Bellamy, and myself. We all stood in the Chancellor's office, looking over maps and blueprints. "We lost the server room, all of our processors, and life support systems, and half of our living quarters. Now, backup power will keep the lights on at night in the rooms that survived, but we'll have no heat or running water. And no way to restore it or reseal the ship before the radiation gets here."
"Is there any good news?" I asked, licking my lips as Kane spoke.
"Well, no one died."
"Forget the Ark," Clarke spoke as she walked into the room. "It was never gonna save us all anyway... We need to focus our resources on the Nightblood solution. Is the fuel loaded?"
"It's in process, but, Clarke, it isn't gonna be an easy ride," Bellamy explained.
"What don't I know?"
I looked at Roan as he sighed, "with the secret of Praimfaya out, I sent Echo and my army back to Polis to keep the peace."
Clarke nodded. "Well, that's good. We need peace to distribute the cure."
"More than half of them deserted on the way," Roan added. "With the end coming, they want to be home. I don't blame them."
"Do you blame them for burning Trikru villages as they go?" Bellamy asked, looking at the king with a raised eyebrow.
"That's funny coming from you."
Bellamy narrowed his eyes at Roan as Kane butted in. "Enough. We know the woods are a war zone. After what happened with Ilian... I can't spare many of the guards to protect you."
"My security detail can protect us," roan stated, leaning on the table.
Kane nodded his way, "thank you. That's very generous."
"We are all in this together now," Roan affirmed, looking at all of us. We were all silent as the man turned and walked out of the room.
"I'm gonna check on Octavia before we go," Bellamy stated before leaving the room, Monty following soon afterward. I didn't say anything as I left the room as well to get ready to go."

"Bellamy, Aiden, and I will lead the way in the rover," Clarke explained to Roan as we stood beside the rover. "You and your men will ride in back with the fuel."
"The King of Azgeda follows no one," one of Roan's guards spat, taking a step forward.
Roan held a hand up. "It's alright, Seiku. Best we stay out of sight for now."
"It's time to go," I heard Bellamy say as he brushed passed me. I got a glimpse of his face, his expression was grim. I furrowed my eyebrows slightly, exchanging a look with Clarke as Monty hopped out of the second truck.
