CHAPTER ELEVEN: FRIENDS?
"YOU'RE WORSE THAN JASPER is." Emmett grumbled. Estella had won for the fifth time in a row and a smile of victory was covering her face. She looked at him and shrugged her shoulders.
"Maybe you're just not as good at video games as you think."
"I've been trying to tell him the same thing for years." Jasper spoke as he and Luna came back down the steps. A smirk covered the male's face as he looked at his brother who was glaring at him.
"You know what-" Emmett started, standing up. Estella laughed with amusement at the boy.
"Oh, don't be such a sore loser polar bear." Estella joked, shoving his arm playfully.
"Is that what you're gonna call me from now on?" Emmett asked as Estella stood up. She turned her head to look at him and smiled.
"Yep. That's my nickname for you. The names I gave you all earlier are your nicknames." Estella said with a sweet smile. Emmett rolled his eyes at the girl though it was a playful eye roll. At least Estella knew at least two of the people in the house liked her. Luna, and Emmett. And of course, there was Alice, but Estella was taking it upon herself to act like the pixie-like vampire didn't exist.
"Auntie, L, will you watch a movie with me? Mom and Dad went hunting." Renesmee requested as she entered the room. Luna put an arm around the girl and smiled.
"Sure, Nes. Pick out a movie and I'll fix you some popcorn."
"I want popcorn." Estella pouted.
"We can't eat it, dumbass. Human food taste like dirt to us." Luna retorted, looking at her sister. Estella shrugged her shoulders.
"I used to eat dirt all the time as a kid."
"That's because you were a weird kid." Luna said.
"Stop insulting my childhood and go fix us popcorn." Estella told her, pointing towards the kitchen. Luna rolled her eyes before grabbing Jasper's hand and walking towards the kitchen. Estella and Renesmee went over to a cabinet that was full of movies as Luna looked around the kitchen before finding the popcorn. She placed the bag into the microwave and then patiently waited.
"You planning to watch the movie with us?" Luna asked, turning her body to face her husband.
"I think I'll let you spend time with Estella." Jasper responded. Luna nodded her head and tilted her head up as he came to stand in front of her. He leaned down, giving her a kiss. Luna kissed him back before pulling away. "I'll be upstairs if you need me."
"Alright." Luna nodded before giving him one last kiss and then letting him walk away. She sighed before turning back around to face the microwave. She tapped her fingers against the counter as she patiently waited for the popcorn to be fixed. Luna turned her head at the sound of footsteps. She cocked her eyebrow when she saw Renesmee appear.
