Chapter 48 [Explanation]

Nagsimula ako na walang patutunguhan, walang direksyon ang buhay, gagawin kung ano ang gusto, walang pakialam sa iniisip ng iba, dumating sa puntong natuto akong magbisyo, napabayaan ang pag-aaral, maging sariling pamilya ko ay tinakwil ako.

But now that I'm in this situation, I know that I have to go through all of that in order to become the person I am now. Every one of us just needs time. To learn. To grow. To bloom.

Flowers need time to bloom, and so do we.

I met Leviticus in the most unexpected time in my life. I was just wandering. I had nowhere else to go. But he opened his doors for me, though I had to lie to him about my identity, he still didn't think twice and let me in his house, and eventually in his heart.

And he was always out of my league, like who thought that he would want me, right? Someone like me, a mere commoner, nothing but a pretender, how in the world would he feel something for me?

I believed that many people will want you, but not want to love. There is a difference between wanting you and wanting to love you. So we have to choose to be loved and not to be used.

Leviticus is not a perfect guy. Just to be honest, he has a lot of flaws. He was violent. He had emotional issues. He was a lonely man. Isolated from everybody. And he couldn't see. But I got amazed as to how he used it to become his asset. He doesn't need eyes to see, because his heart is enough to see the good in people.

And the best guy you'll ever have is not the best looking, the funniest, or the richest. He's the one that makes you feel gorgeous, hilarious and like a million dollars. He makes sure you know you're loved.

Well, bonus nalang siguro para sakin na gwapo siya, at mayaman. He's freaking rich! And occasionally naughty. And you know, he's gifted down there. I can't tell exactly if it's a bonus or a torture, though.

And loving someone also tests you. Sometimes when you love someone very much, you have to go through every tear, every heartache and every pain. Because in the end, it's not just how you love but how much you hold on.

I came back to office just a day after I went home. Rocco became the temporary boss when I wasn't around so I need to review some of the most recent reports from the ongoing projects.

And after all those years of tears, pain, and heartaches, how did I know if he's really the one? Is he my so-called soulmate? Paano nga ba nalalaman iyon?

I truly believe that soulmates will always end up together. No matter how much love got lost, no matter how much distance there was, if it's meant to be, it will be. And you lose each other just to find each other again. That's how you know someone's meant for you.

And when someone makes you the happiest person and the saddest person at the same time, that's when it's real. That's when it's worth something.

My personal phone beeped for a new message. Without lifting it up, I just slid the screen to read the message in it.

Nang mabasa ko iyon ay natural na sa akin ang mag-init ang mukha. Ang mas nakakahiya pa ay pag-angat ko ng tingin, nakasubaybay na pala ang assistant ko sa aking mukha.

"Boyfriend?" he teased.

Now I raised an eyebrow at him, he's just my personal assistant but he has the guts now to ask me out-of-the-office questions. And I wasn't informed that teasing me about my boyfriend is now part of his job description.
