It was finally Christmas Eve, and I was practically jumping with joy, I was jumping with joy. We were going to the Howell's for dinner and then coming back home with them for cookies. Even if it was with Dan, I was still excited as hell.
Before dinner I went to Louise's for a Christmas party with all our friends, and we were doing pollyanna so I brought a present. Mine was a pikachu stuffed animal with a bag of popcorn. It was dumb, but someone was ought to like it.
My dad dropped me off since I still could not drive, and I took my present and knocked on the door as my dad pulled away.
"Hi Phil," Louise greeted me as I walked in.
"Hi," I said. "Where should I put my present?"
"Over here, I'll show you." I followed her into the lounge and placed my bag on the table with other presents.
"Is Tyler here yet?" I asked blushing. She nodded and giggled.
"You guys are so cute!" She exclaimed, both of us laughing.
"Hey Phil!" Tyler yelled, running up and jumping on me as I hugged him.
"Hi," I said giggling. I kissed his cheek and took his hand in my own as we left to join everyone else.
"Can we start pollyanna now that everyone is here?" Joe complained. Louise nodded and everyone got there presents and we sat in a circle.
"Everyone take a piece of paper, and your number is on it," Zoe explained. I had number 4.
"Okay, who has number one?"
"Me!" Chris exclaimed excitedly.
"Pick a present, but don't open it straight away," Louise told him. He picked the large bag that Marcus had brought.
"Before you open it, do you think you'll want to trade with anyone?"
"No," He said.
"Once it is opened, since you're number one, people can steal your present. But only if that haven't opened their's yet. Is that okay with you?" He nodded and eagerly took out the tissue paper, revealing a bottle of soda and one direction t-shirt.
"Wow Marcus, you really went all out," Troye said laughing. He shrugged and drank some of his water.
"Who's number two?" Zoe shot her hand in the air, and that's how we spent the next hour.

"I can't believe I got a banana," I complained. Tyler got my present, and I got Chris's.
"I can't believe Chris even brought that," Tyler said laughing. I shrugged and threw it away. It was all brown anyways.
"I'll see you in the New Year!" I said as I walked in my house. I heard Tyler laughing as I shut the door, and my mum ran down the stairs trying to put on an earring.
"It's time to go!" She exclaimed.
"I'm ready," I said simply, waiting for my brother and dad.
"Lets go!" Dad said.
"What about Martyn?" I asked.
"He's sick, and is staying home. Now lets go!" Mum ushered us out the door and we drove to the Howell's, even though it was a couple streets away.
"Merry Christmas!" Mrs. Howell said happily as we walked in. I smiled at her and walked in with my parents, holding Dan's presents in my hands. I smelled the cookies baking in the oven and the old smell of happiness made me feel nostalgic. Nothing here changed since the last time I came, and I didn't know if that was good or not.
