Christmas was unbelievably uneventful and boring. My best gift was a new phone case, but I also really liked the chocolates, too.
As you get older and you know Santa isn't real, Christmas just starts going down hill. This year was definitely rock bottom. Usually my mum's sisters come over with my cousins, and my dad's parents, but this year no one came, so I was stuck watching the Doctor Who special alone. How fun.
The day before the New Year's party, Troye had me, Pj, Chris, and Tyler over. This time as I walked to Troye's, I made sure not to pass Dan's house.
I knocked on his door and Tyler answered, and Chris was wiggling his eyes brows at me from behind him. I rolled my eyes and said hi to everyone, joining them in Troye's room.
"Are you all excited for 2015?" PJ asked.
"Please, I'm barely ready for 2014, let alone 2015!" Troye said. I laughed as Chris agreed.
"I have to admit, a couple months ago I had to google the year," I said sheepishly. Everyone started laughing as my cheeks flushed red.
"Phil, I have to tell you something," Tyler whispered as everyone else was in conversation.
"What is it?" I asked, looking at his worried eyes.
"I told Troye we aren't actually dating."
"I-It's fine. I know Troye won't tell anyone." Tyler smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"Thanks," He sighed in relief.
"Are you two like, together?" I asked. Tyler shrugged and smiled.
"No, but he stopped acting strange. I think our 'relationship' was bothering him."
"Well duh! He is totally head over heels for you!" Tyler giggled and blushed.
"No he isn't, now stop it." I pushed his shoulder and he pushed me back.
"No fighting! We don't need a break up or I will have to deal with Phil's crying!" Chris yelled, stopping us from pushing each other.
"Calm down Chris, we weren't fighting. Lord have mercy on our souls!" Tyler exclaimed. I giggled and kissed his cheek, looking over and seeing Troye's sad eyes which made me regret my action.
"Is anyone else going to Emma's New Year's Eve party?" I asked.
"Dan's girlfriend Emma?" Chris asked.
"I wouldn't say they're dating, but yeah."
"Peej and I are going, how about you Troye?"
"No, I'm staying here," He said, sighing dramatically.
"The whole year is invited! C'mon, you can just show up with us. No one will notice you're even there," PJ offered.
"Okay, fine, I'll go," Troye said pretending to be upset.
"Don't whine, you know you want to come," I insisted. He shrugged and laughed, then stood up and left.
"Um, Troye? Where are you going?" Tyler asked.
"To make popcorn, what else?" We all quickly followed him downstairs and made popcorn.
"Melt butter and pour it on so it's better tasting," Tyler suggested.
"Is that an American thing?" Chris asked.
"No, it's a smart people thing." PJ and I laughed as Troye rolled his eyes and hid his smile. Tyler poured the melted butter on and ate a piece.
"Much better," He said satisfied.
"Want to watch the Amazing-Spider Man 2? My mum got it for me for Christmas," Troye suggested. We all agreed and once the movie ended Tyler said he would walk me home.
