In case you didnt remember the story is Phil's POV

"Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked nervously. Dan smiled as he zipped up his suitcase. He cupped my face in his and kissed me softly.

"Yes I'm sure. You need to relax and know that I will be safe and happy." I pouted and wrapped my arms around him.

"It's not that, I just don't want you to leave. Our bed will be cold without you." Dan chuckled and sent shivers down my spine.

"Trust me, this is a good thing. Haven't you ever heard the saying distance makes the heart grow fonder?" He poked my sides to make me smile.

"Can I at least have one of your poems?" Dan brushed a piece of hair out of my eyes and smiled.

"How about I read you one?" I nodded and he pulled out his notebook, flipping to a random
page.

"This is a good one, it's my favorite. Love is a mysterious thing. In my journeys in life, I have come
to find that searching for love just never seems to work. You have to let love search for you. If you wait patiently, you will eventually find yourself suffocating in it. Love is a mysterious thing, and the mystery starts with you." Dan looked up at me, his dark chocolate eyes making my insides melt. I pressed my lips onto his gently and let myself melt further.

"That seemed more like a note than a poem," I giggled. Dan laughed and flipped to a different page.

"Sometimes I like writing what's on my mind, but it isn't always a poem. Here is a better one. I love your lips when they're wet with wine
    And red with a wild desire;
I love your eyes when the lovelight lies
    Lit with a passionate fire.
I love your arms when the warm white flesh
    Touches mine in a fond embrace;
I love your hair when the strands enmesh
    Your kisses against my face.

Not for me the cold, calm kiss
    Of a virgin's bloodless love;
Not for me the saint's white bliss,
Nor the heart of a spotless dove.
But give me the love that so freely gives
And laughs at the whole world's blame,
With your body so young and warm in my arms,
It sets my poor heart aflame.

So kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
    Still fragrant with ruby wine,
And say with a fervor born of the South
That your body and soul are mine.
Clasp me close in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we'll live our whole young lives away
In the joys of a living love."

"How is it that no matter what you tell me I get butterflies?" I mused. Dan wrapped me in his embrace and sighed.

"How is it that I'm so in love with you?" I hugged him tighter and pressed my lips to the nape of his neck.

"Please don't go," I whimpered. He kissed the top of my head gently and pulled away from our hug.

"They're here. I'll see you at school in a few days, don't worry." I kissed him one last time and sighed.

"I love you." He told me the same and walked out to meet his parents. I watched them hug, his mum happily crying. I watched Dan smile brightly as he stepped into their car and drove off to their new house. I watched as Dan didn't look back, too happy to think. I thought about how I no longer felt sad watching him be happy again.

I heard the doorbell ring and ran down to get it.

"Surprise!" Tyler yelled as I opened the door. I smiled and let him in.

"Hi Tyler," I muttered.

"Why the long face?" I shrugged and sat down. "I miss Dan." Tyler sat next to me and hugged me.

"You are too funny. You're gonna see him in a few hours!"

"I know that, but I still miss him. I'm in love with him."

"Tell you what, I'll take you to see him right now."

"I could do that myself, but he said we shouldn't because he feels awkward leaving his family straight away. I want to respect some of his privacy." Tyler pouted and stood up.

"Okay, well I need to go on my date with Troy now. I hope you feel better!" He kissed my cheek and hurried out the door. I sighed and decided to go to bed, trying desperately to make time fly.

The next morning I walked to school alone and waited outside the gates where Dan had told me. After a few minutes I saw him run up and crash me into a hug.

"I missed you so much," He mumbled into my shirt. I peppered his face with kisses and smiled.

"I missed you too." We walked around for a bit, deciding that being together was more important than class.

"I have good news and bad news," Dan said sadly.

"Okay, tell me."

"The good news is I got accepted into a university, but the bad news is if I go I will be leaving in 3 weeks." I froze in my tracks and stared at him.

"But what about school?"

"I would graduate early, I guess. I really like the university, but I don't want to leave yo-" I cut him off.

"You have to go. You're much to smart to turn this down. I'll miss you, but I can stay with you over the summer and than move there to go to Uni as well. It won't be so bad." I smiled and he hugged me.

"Thank you so much!" I kissed him softly and smiled.

"You're welcome."

"Can you believe that we wouldn't be like this if we hadn't started talking for our parents sakes?" I laughed and nodded.

"It's a good thing we love them."

"I love you more." He pressed his lips to mine softly and I wrapped my arms around him.

"I love you most."
