ɪ ᴅɪᴅɴ'ᴛ ᴍᴇᴀɴ ᴛᴏ

BANG CHAN
It was the end of the school day, Seungmin had given me Felix's address and I walked out of school ready to take the missing work to his house. Felix's route to his house was quite similar to mine which made me wonder if it was him that one time I saw a kid walk that way.

I turned the last corner and came across a little bungalow which was Felix's place. I take two deap breaths and knock on the door. It opened and I was greeted by a small fat woman wearing an apron. She had the same eyes and smile as Felix. "H-hello Yongbok's mum I'm Bang Chan, a friend of his. I noticed he wasn't at school today so I brought him the work he missed as I know he doesn't like to miss work." She smiled and let me through the door. The house was quite nice and looked warm and inviting. "He's upstairs in his room, he might be asleep though so I'd check before you walk in." She pointed me the directions to his room and mutters something as I left, she probably didn't want me to hear it but I did, "Felix has no friends, so why is he here?"

I come to a door with Felix's name written on it in pastel rainbow. It looked cute. I knocked on his door and when I heard a small grunt I assumed he was awake and entered. I looked around his duck egg blue room and came across him sat as his desk chewing a pencil rocking backwards and forwards breathing quite heavily. He looked at me and started to shake and he dropped to the floor in a ball. "Yongbok are you okay?" I asked trying to get him to talk so I could help. No reply, he just kept shaking and rocking backwards and forwards whimpering. He looked so scared. I reached my arm out to try and touch him, "hey I'm here it's okay." He perked his head up slightly and grabbed at my arm. His sobs were getting louder, I moved myself next to him and he could feel my presence and started to hug me. I stroked his hair in an attempt to comfort him and made sure he knew I was there for him. After an hour he was almost calm.

His breathing slowed and he suddenly fully realised that I was there with him. I could tell he was embarrassed when he realised that we were hugging each other as his face went pink and he pushed me off. He pointed at the door without looking at me and I was lightly pushed towards it. I took it as my cue to leave and left, bidding goodbye to Felix's mum quickly.
