We took steps towards the middle of the room, where a giant stone arch stood. The center looked empty, but there were movement streaks like smoke from a chimney. I heard voices, but I could not understand what they were saying.

"The voices, can you tell what they're saying?" Harry questions while walking closer towards the arch.

I let out a breath I did not know I was holding in; it must have been because I thought I was losing my mind. Mione and Ron shared a look as if he was mad, and then it made me again question my sanity and Harry's.

"There aren't any voices, Harry," Hermione said, acting undoubtedly positive of herself like she usually does.

"Let's get out of here," Mione added, looking for the nearest exit. I almost didn't hear anything because I was mesmerized by the arch and its mysterious voices.

"I hear them, too." Luna and I say at the same time.

Luna stands right next to me while we stare at this mysterious arch. I am trying to make out the voices, but I can't help but think that the fall has made me mad. Back in my mind, I know I have gone crazy because we are standing here looking at an arch that speaks when we should be worried about the death eaters that are probably closing in on us.

"Harry, it's just an empty archway," Hermione said with a hint of worry. "Please, Harry."

Harry and I finally broke out of our trance to notice death eaters coming straight towards us. My breathing came out heavy while my heart was pounding against my chest. I was, of course, scared, but I did not let it show in my face.

"Get behind me," Harry yelled at us while holding up his wand, preparing to fight.

We, of course, stood behind Harry with our wands in the same positions. The death eaters apparated over us with their black fog covering us, and then I felt myself getting held by someone; I was too scared to open my eyes because I knew who had me in their grasp, and it was, of course, a death eater. Harry was still on the ground by the arch with his wand and the prophecy. I looked around the room to notice everyone else in the death-eater's grip; poor Neville had to be in the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange. But of course, my luck would have it. I had to be in the sick hands of Lucius Malfoy. Lucius laughed while he took me to the arch before Harry, with his wand pointing to my head.

"Did you, the way you are truly naive enough, to think that you stood a chance against us," Lucius said arrogantly while pulling me by my hair to get me closer to him. I looked Harry in his eyes, trying not to let him see my fear and to let him know I was pretty fitting. I could hear Mione try to break free, but the death eater would not lose his grip.

"I'll make this simple for you, potter. Give me the prophecy now, or watch your friends die." Lucius said. His pale hand reached out so Harry could give him the prophecy while his other hand gripped tightly on my neck. His nails were digging into my skin, and I felt something wet from them, which made me realize it was my blood.

Harry looked all over the room, looking at all of us and, lastly, at me with a sad look. His eyes then moved to the prophecy in his hand. I could tell he was having an inner battle with himself on what to do.

"Don't give it to him, Harry," Neville yelled, which surprised me to think he would be brave enough to speak out when knowing if I tried to speak, I would sound like a squeaky mouse.

Bellatrix hushed him while pulling the wand closer to his throat. My eyes grew wide as I noticed Harry giving the prophecy to Lucius. He finally let go of my neck while examining the glass ball. Harry quickly pulled me over to his side, grabbing my hand. Harry and I noticed a flash of light, which made me smile when I saw who caused it.

"Get away from my godson," Sirius said before punching Lucius. Sirius quickly pulled us to him while all the other wizards from the order showed up. I noticed Tonks, and she looked at me, only to wink before getting ready to fight.

A death eater was firing spells at us while Sirius and Harry blocked them effortlessly. I was then again getting pulled from one place to another. The order was trying to keep the death eaters from hurting our friends. Sirius then sat Harry and me down; he looked at us like he was about to lecture us. Yet when he looked at me, something else flashed through his eye; I couldn't tell what it was.

"Now listen to me; I want you to take the others and get out of here," Sirius said while looking around to ensure a death eater was not trying to attack us.

"What? No, I'm staying with you." Harry says, which causes me to look at him like he turned into fluffy.

"You've both done beautifully; let me take it from here," Sirius told us. Before he got up to fight, he looked me in the eyes and then did the last thing I expected him to do, especially right in front of Harry.

Sirius Black just kissed me.

"I have always loved you, Lily Evans." He told me.

My brain had no time to process what had just happened as I had to block spells thrown at us by Lucius and some death eater. Bellatrix was flying around the room, laughing, which sounded like a crackling. I felt Harry grab my hand while we were blocking spells, which caused me to get distracted, but I was lucky enough to have Harry there to use the disarming charm on Lucius.

"Nice one, James!" Sirius, which caused Harry and I to look at him in confusion.

Sirius finally disarmed Lucius, which he took by a big shock. Out of nowhere, Bellatrix pops out and uses Avada Kedavra to hit Sirius straight in the chest. Harry's grip on my hand tightens as he watches his godfather die. Sirius enters the mysterious arch that consumes him in the grey fog. Harry looked as if he could break down and cry at any minute; I couldn't blame him, I thought; Sirius was the only real family he had left. He then starts to step towards breaking down and crying, only to get pulled back by Remus. Tonks approached me to get me next to the others, but I couldn't move as Harry still had a tight grip on my hand.

It hurt to see him live this; I could hear Bellatrix laugh at what she had done. She acted proud that she was the one who caused the downfall of Sirius Black.
