Intro I Guess?

Hi, so, we're getting some remodeling done and it's loud and I don't know these people. So I've been hiding in my room while they're here, just like our cat. My mom even said that I'm that cat, but human. I started writing a story on here partly to help distract me, but that wasn't going fast enough. So I decided to start writing this!

Updates daily! (Or at least as close to that as possible.)

For those of you who don't know what synesthesia or sensory processing disorder are:

Synesthesia is a blending of the senses. I experience it by seeing colors in my head that are associated with words, letters, numbers, emotions, and even when I hear most music, but there are lots of different types of synesthesia. An example of this is the song Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi. When I listen to this song, I see the colors brown and yellow-green. Sometimes I also see hints of yellow mixed in with the green.

Sensory processing disorder is hard for me to explain, but I think basically it's best summed up by your entire nervous system processes everything differently than others. Loud noises bother me a lot more than others, and smells can really get to me, too. But there's a pretty big spectrum here, too, and I think I have it pretty mild compared to others.

You know, I honestly don't know who's seriously going to be interested in reading this. I just need a distraction from the remodel stuff and this will certainly keep me occupied.

I have no problem answering any questions you might have, if anyone's actually reading this, but please avoid swearing or anything like that. Also, sorry in advance if there's a question I can't answer. Despite knowing about my sensory (I'm gonna call it SPD for short) since I was nine, I still don't know anywhere near as much about it as I'd like. Oh, and I've been raised to be paranoid of the internet, so I'm not going to answer stuff like "how old are you" because the internet does not forget, it does not forgive, and it cannot be stopped. :)

Uh, I guess that's all the intro I got. If anyone out there stumbles across this and decides to read it, then thanks? Enjoy the rants and whatnot? (I have no idea what I'm doing.)
