Chapter 21.2:

(Trip Continuation)

Luna's POV:

"Honey, are you ready yet?" Mom shouted from a room.

I'm currently dressing up for our trip to Jeju. I already have my stuff ready, and in a couple hours we'll be in the island.

"Yeah, I'm going downstairs in a second." I shouted back.

After putting a little makeup, I fixed my clothes. I'm wearing a mustard-colored blouse with light square pants.

I stepped out of my room, carrying all the necessary items.

"Come on. Let's go." Mom excitedly jumped.

"You really want to meet your sister?" I asked.

"It's been ages." She clapped before leading outside the house.

"Here we are. Jeju Island." Mom inhaled deeply as we got out of the ride.

"We probably should go to Aunt's house now." I patted her back.

"It's just here." She walked to a certain doorstep.

She pressed the doorbell. A familiar face greeted from inside the house.

"Oh hello! Nice to see you again. Luna, you've grown so much!" Aunt led us inside.

"Where's your son?" Mom asked.

I smiled at the thought of my cousin.

"Yah! Kang Taehyun!" They shouted.

A boy came out of a room.

"Luna!" He ran up to me before hugging me tightly.

"Hi." I giggled.

"I missed you." He pulled away.

"I missed me too." I teased.

"Still haven't changed huh?" He poked my sides.

I giggled at the boy.

"While you two catch up. I'm gonna help in the kitchen." Mom smiled.

I nodded.

"I'll bring you to the guest room." Taehyun grabbed my stuff.

I followed him, walking behind the lean boy.

"So how's Seoul?" He started.

"Well, let's just say that a lot of things happened." I answered.

"Must be stressful." He plopped on the bed.

"It is." I chuckled.

"How's Yeonjun hyung?" He looked up at me.

"That's the thing." I sighed.

"Oh no. Wanna talk about it?" He sat up and pulled me beside him.

"Yes please."

The whole day consisted of heart to heart talks. Taehyun has always been my brother that I never had. With soft words here and there, advising each others problems, I cherished him so much.

"Poor thing. Why'd you only tell me now?" He hugged me.

"I don't know." I nuzzled my head on his shoulders.

"Well, this is what I wanna say. Mira has nothing to do with it. It's just you and hyung." He stated.

"I know. Mira has no clue." My words were muffled.

"Wake up, moon. We're gonna have an exciting day." Taehyun shook my body.

"What?" I groaned out.

"Just get ready." He pinched my cheeks.

I groggily made my way to the bathroom.

After five minutes of having an existential crisis, I finally got ready.

I made my way to the others.

"What exactly are we doing?" I asked, sitting with them on the dining table.

"Explore the island, duh." Mom sassed.

I chuckled at my mom's behavior, taking a bite on some food.

"Let's go then." I rushed.

"Excited much?" Taehyun raised his brow.
