Chapter 11:

'Catch me even before I fall.'

Luna's POV:

I woke up, refreshed and energized.
I got out of my bed and took a shower. I finished dressing up and headed to the kitchen.

After five minutes of self debate, I decided to just grab pastries and coffee from the nearby bakery.

8:45

Work starts at 10:00

I grabbed my purse and went to the bread heaven.

I don't know if it's just the weather or the sleep I got, every cell in my veins seemed so happy.

I hummed a random tune while walking, smiling like an idiot.

I pushed the door open, ringing the bell hanging on it.

"Hello, nice to see you. What are you going to get?"

"Your best sellers please. One drink and a set of pastries. You can surprise me." I smiled.

"You seem to be in a good mood. You're taking it out?"

"I'll stay here."

"One mystery order, coming up."

I giggled to myself, continuing the good energy.

"Oh? Luna?" I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Seungmin.

"Oh hi." I greeted.

"You live close by?" He raised a brow.

"Yep."

"Me too."

The tension was very comfortable even though we just met yesterday.

"Here's you order, ma'am." She handed me a tray.

I payed for the food and handled the goodies.

"Are you staying here as well? We can share a table." I asked the boy beside me.

"Oh, yeah sure."

We made our way to the vacant place and sat down.

"I heard you're new to the company as well. Is there a reason why you chose to be a photographer?" Seungmin asked while we ate comfortably.

It's pretty weird that I don't feel uncomfortable.

"I just find peace and happiness in photography you know? The little moments that are captured will always be intact." I answered, munching on my breakfast.

"I know how you feel." He nodded, sipping his drink.

A few more chats here and there.

I finally checked the time.

"We'll be late. Let's get going." I said, packing up the remaining pastries as I planned on giving them to Soobin.

We headed out of the cafe and walked to the company building.

We entered the workplace, only to be greeted by Minhee.

"There you guys are. I thought you were gonna be late." He exhaled.

I looked at him weirdly.

"Is there something going on? You don't usually search for me." I crossed my arms.

"Well, let's get to the office first."

"Now what?" Seungmin asked.

"Uhm...." Minhee trailed off.

"Uhm what?" I looked at the distressed state of the boy.

"I'm just going to spill. So the thing is, twoofourcoworkerscan'tcometodaycuztheyresickbuttheyhavealotof-" He blurted out.

"Woah woah, calm down. I didn't get a single thing." I patted his back.

"So two of our co-workers can't come today because they're sick but they have a lot of work. And the thing is, we have no one to substitute them. They have a very important photoshoot today." He finally explained.

I looked at Seungmin with a confused face, he just shrugged not knowing as well.

"So?" I questioned.

"So Mr. Bread asked if you two could do it." He awkwardly smiled.

I sighed.

"I even brought bread for that tall stick and this is what I'm gonna get back? I can't meet more new people." I muttered under my breath.

"I have nothing to do." Seungmin said.

Minhee looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Nothing could go bad." He convinced.

"I was going to say yes either way." I flicked his forehead.

"My lovely workers! How are you?" Soobin barged in the room.

I tossed him the paper bag with bread.

"Oh my god! Thank you! I haven't had breakfast yet." He jumped.

"Anyways, did you get the news?" He cleared his throat.

"Yeah, we're doing it." I answered.

"Thank you. Now, here's the schedule. It's just one photoshoot but it's a very important and it's process is long too." He handed a piece of paper.

Seungmin grabbed it from Soobin and read it out loud.

"A couple shoot. 10:45 am."

"Oh, that's it?" I stared at Seungmin.

"Yep. A couple shoot." He said again.

"We can do that." I smiled.

He continued. "Of the famous model Yeonjun and Mira."

"What?"
