Chapter 6:

'I can vividly remember the days when you and I are still the same.'

Luna's POV:

Same days.
Same things.

The only difference is that Jeongin keeps on bugging me. That boy never leaves me alone as much as I tell him to stay away.

He said he wanted to be friends, but what if he'll leave me just like what Yeonjun did.

It doesn't even make sense. Yeonjun suddenly treated me like I'm invisible, but I doubt that Mira is like those mean girls in movies. She's an angel.

Now, the problem is that adorable kid who sticks to me.

"Hey Luna!" A voice called me from behind.

I winced at the loud voice.

"Jeongin. Why do you keep doing that? People can hear you miles away." I scolded.

"I'm born with a loud voice. Anyways, it's been one week since we're friends." He smiled as he handed me a little box.

I widened my eyes at the statement.

"We're friends? Jeongin, you're nice and all but I don't think-"

"I'm not like Yeonjun, Luna. I'll stay by your side." He looked at me, dead serious.

"What if you don't stand by your words?"

"Let me prove it then. We'll be bestfriends even after we graduate." He lifted the box closer to me.

I slowly took the present and softly smiled.

"If I break my promise, I'll bury myself alive." He laughed.

We heard the bell ring, the first lesson starts now.

We looked at each other in panic and ran to our own rooms.

Second period is done and it is now lunch time. I saw Jeongin walking inside the classroom.

"Eat well, Ms. Song." He muttered.

"Another student like Luna? Thank you Jeongin." Ms. Song chuckled.

I looked around at the empty classroom and raised my brow at him.

"You need something?" I asked.

"We'll have lunch together." He pulled my arm to the exit.

I quickly bowed at the teacher.

"Bye Ms. Song."

She just waved her hands.

"Do you have an instagram?" Jeongin suddenly asked.

We're currently walking home. Jeongin's house is far from mine but he insisted to walk with me because apparently it's 'keeping promises'.

"Yeah. It's @Luna_K." I replied, showing my feed.

"Oh my god. Your posts are so aesthetically pleasing. White and beige are your themes?" His eyes stuck on my phone.

I chuckled at his behavior.

"Yeah." I answered.

"Wait. Stay there. I'll take a picture of you. The wall behind you looks good."
He stopped his tracks and snatched my phone.

I quickly posed and heard a few clicks.

"This goes well with your feed. Can I post it?" He pleaded.

I nodded, looking at the screen.

I giggled as I saw what he's typing.

"Come on. It's getting late. I'm just a few blocks away. You need to get going now." I gently grabbed my phone back.

"I'll see you around! Have a great week end!" He shouted as he got further away.

I shook my head at his sillyness.
