Chapter 23:

'It's hard to say goodbye but I can't run, I'm ready to let go.'

Luna's POV:

One week has passed and after all the fun we had here in Jeju, it was now time to go home- well, to Seoul for me.

"Taehyun keep in touch with me." I whined, clinging like a baby koala to my cousin.

"Yeah yeah. You've said that like ten times, you need to leave." He patted my head.

I stood up properly and looked at the taller boy.

"But I don't want to leave." I sternly said but it probably looked like I was a pouty child.

"Why don't you wanna leave anyways? You'll be fine. If anyone hurts you, I'll beat them up. Now, you're gonna be leaving with your mom." Taehyun pushed me to the living room.

Still sulky about leaving, I greeted the two women chatting on the sofa.

"Uhm, I guess it's time to go?" Mom stood up and held her stuff.

"We'll visit you again. Don't forget about me." I playfully said causing the duo to roll their eyes.

"We won't." Taehyun smiled as he waved his hands.

We got out of the house with Auntie escorting our way out.

"Be safe, bye bye!" She shouted while we got further.

Arriving in the familiar place, I sighed as I dragged my things on the floor of my apartment.

I quickly did the unpacking and cleaned the place a bit, for it to not look like an abandoned house.

I tiredly plopped on my bed with my phone in my hand.

I just got back

Awww don't be mad

You didn't even say goodbye to

You'll probably whine like a child
not getting a candy from its mom

I felt my eyes get heavy.

"A small nap won't hurt." I mumbled to myself before drifting to sleep.

My now calm aura drifting, my feet running around frantically.

"Oh god, I'm late." I rushed on putting my shoes before stepping out of the house.

"Maybe a small nap could hurt. A small nap, a slumber I must say." I ran to the company building.

"Stop talking to yourself, have you gone crazy?" I mentally face palmed.

I arrived at the workplace, panting. I catched my breath before going in the office.

"Good morning." I greeted with a smile.

"Hey, you're just in time. I missed you muffins." Minhee ruffled my hair.

I tossed a small plastic bag to him.

"What's this?" Confused, he looked at me.

"Snacks, what else?" I giggled.

"Oh my gosh. You're the best!" He hugged me tightly.

"The wonders of food." I muttered, breaking the hug and making my way to my desk.

"I missed you desk." I tapped the object.

"Uh, I'm here too?" Seungmin popped from his chair.

"Hi Min. I missed you." I laughed at the boy.

"I don't." He cheekily grinned.

"Too bad." I jokingly pouted.
