'As the planet moves, I rose up from the bottom and slowly got to the top.'

Luna's POV:

Another school year is ending. Me and Jeongin are graduating today. That boy brought so much happiness in my life. He kept his promise, he never left my side and I hope that'll never happen.

"Guys, listen up." My favorite teacher, Ms. Kim announced.

"As all of you know, this is the last school day before all of you graduate. It happened to be the school's 25th anniversary so we'll be doing something special. As this last period ends, please check your lockers. There will be something inside. Congratulations to all of you. You've worked very hard. I'm happy that all of you passed." She clapped.

We all smiled at the thought.

This is just a start of a new chapter.

The bell rung, and the usual noise came in.

I saw Jeongin walk inside the classroom like he always does, greet the teacher and walk up to me.

I found a huge difference between Jeongin and him.

Stop Luna. You're talking about him again.

I can't help but miss my old bestfriend. Even if we can just end up as buddies, I don't want those memories to fade away.

"Did Ms. Kim announce something too?" He started.

"Yeah, something about the locker thing." I shrugged, hiding the fact that I was oozing out with excitement and curiosity.

"Come on. Let's check them out." He dragged me away.

I looked at Ms. Kim.

"No need to say anything, Luna. I don't want to miss you." She joked.

I smiled sadly, as she was my second mother. She helped me enjoy studying.

I pulled my hand out of Jeongin's grasp as I walked to the woman.

"Can I at least get a goodbye hug?" I asked.

"You don't even need to ask." She pulled my body into her tight and warm embrace.

Ms. Kim is one of the best teacher here at the university. Ever since the conversation about Yeonjun happened between us, we have gotten extremely close.

But the catch is, the reason why I'm close to her is that, she never really had a child. I've been a daughter figure to her, maybe that's why she likes me.

"I'll never forget you, darling." She said as she pulled away.

I smiled at her.

"Now, go on. Check your lockers." She winked.

I just laughed and went to Jeongin.

I looked up to the now, muscular boy who had gotten his braces off. He had grown so much in the last few months.

We walked to our lockers, which were luckily beside each other.

I entered the lock and opened the door.

My brows furrowed as I saw a box with a note on top.

Well, I was expecting a graduation uniform or something.

I picked up the card.

'To all students,

We have been thankful to all of you. As you may all know, it's also the anniversary of the school. We wanted to do this, to add some spice and change things up. Open the box and that's what you'll wear to the graduation. You need to find a partner for this as well. The event will be more fun. It's like prom but a graduation ceremony ;)'

I snickered at the winky face. I looked beside me and saw Jeongin staring.

"I guess we'll be buddies." I shrugged.

I grabbed the box, very excited about what's inside.

I slowly slid off the cover and saw a beautiful white gown with floral embroidery. Pink flowers are scattered over the dress, making it elegant.

"What........ is this?" I looked over to my best friend's box and saw a suit with a light pink tie, matching with mine?

"Okay, this is creepy." I said, gently closing the box.

"Are we supposed to match?" He scratched the back of his neck.

"I don't know. How do they know that we're partners?" I turned my gaze to him.

"Duh, we're always together. I thought you were smart." He sassed.

I scoffed at his reply.

"I am a normal person." I poked his cheek.

I once again, turned to the box in my hands.

"Our graduation is going to be lit." I heard him cheer.

My hands made way to the dress' fabric.

I hope you're happy. I still remember the pink roses you gave to me everyweek when we were kids. You should do that to Mira too.
