Vera woke up the next morning bundled up in a thick blanket on the sofa in the living room. She had fallen asleep while Fred was talking to her and he didn't want to wake her. The boy had picked her up and laid her on the sofa.

Vera walked up the stairs and into the room she shared with Ginny and Hermione.
  
"You're awake!" Ginny said excitedly. "Mum left you something to eat at the kitchen counter but we can have lunch in sometime, it's almost one"
  
"One!?" Vera was shocked. "Why didn't any of you wake me!?"

"The Twins didn't let us" Hermione told her. "Fred said you slept at 4 am"

"Was it the night terrors?" Ginny asked. Vera only nodded.

The three girls sat together talking about various things. Ginny knew not to bring up anything about Verena's powers or her night terrors. Hermione filled her in on how they were planning to bring Harry to the burrow.

Ginny filled her in on how Harry had broken up with her because it wouldn't be 'safe' for her.
Vera noticed how Ginny didn't mope around about it, she wasn't even bothered by it. Vera also noticed that if Ginny wanted, she could kill Harry Potter with her eyes closed but unfortunately, the whole Wizarding world was at stake and Harry was the only one who could save them.

"Once I beat George in a duel, it was my fourth year and we were in practice for Dumbledore's Army. We had formed this secret organization to overthrow our defense against the dark arts teacher" Ginny told her.

"Where did you learn to fight like that, Ginny?" Vera finally asked her.

"I have six older brothers, Bill has long hair and wears jewelry, Charlie is a recluse with dozens of animals, Percy is a nerd, the twins have a reputation of being bad kids, Ron has a huge inferiority complex and I wasn't going to let anyone give them any shit for that. So I had to learn to beat up people bigger than me pretty early." The girls looked at Ginny before bursting out into laughter. Vera was impressed with her wit and strength. She secretly wished she was more confident like Ginny.

Ginny on the other hand, had grown to like Vera, under that shy and silent girl, was a funny, crazy, smart and kind witch. Ginny wished that Vera could've been in Hogwarts.

Astrid walked into Fred and George's room to see nothing but smoke.
"what happened here?" She asked,coughing.

"We accidentally set off some smoke balls while packaging them" George faded into her view.

"It'll go away in sometime" He assured. Soon the room started to clear up and Verena could see Fred sitting on the floor with parchments, quills, some boxes and other things lying around him.

"What brings you here?" He asked the girl as she scanned the room, frowning at the mess.

"I haven't seen you all day! Thought I'd drop in here" Vera walked over and sat down on the floor across from Fred. George closely followed after her.

"What have you two been doing?" She asked them looking at the parchments that spread across the floor.

"We have been packing our products to send them through owl post" Fred explained on how their shop had to be closed and they had to still run a business.

"Sounds like a productive day, much better than mine.." Vera was still sour about the fact that she had woken up so late. If it were her own house, she wouldn't have minded at all but her parents had taught her basic mannerism and she felt that it was completely unacceptable that she wasn't contributing to the house at all.

"Why? How was your day?" Fred asked.

"Well, no one died" She shrugged.

"Those are your standards!?" George asked with an amused grin as Fred laughed at her comment.

"It's just, I don't understand why you didn't wake me up! I'm not supposed to be sleeping till this late you know.."

"Well, Freddie over here, refused to let anyone even go near you! He said you had horrible nightmares" George smiled at his brother, knowingly. Fred's face turned pink as he tried to change the subject.
