It was clear to me from the start
The visions you made that left a mark
It was there in front of me
Slapping me hard into reality
The pictures you laid were there
Stuck in my head, so I stop and stare
It seems alright, but I've never been told
How this thing could ever be so cold
But you were certain about how this is
For you, it was just a sign that I missed
But how it became so crucial
After a time, it became so brutal
You said it out loud, bound to be
Just part of another misery
I didn't see it coming, not at all
But it was clear that we were bound to fall
