Sun-kissed skin and lemonade in hand. You were there standing by the pool, ready for the dive. You looked at me with sunshine in your eyes.
Sunset fields on our drive back home. It was endless. The music swallowed us whole as we chased the sun. I looked at you with warm hearts and hopeful eyes.
You gave me sunflowers on our anniversary. I laid them by my bedside as you recall the summer when we first met. I was breathless, burning with anticipation as we made love in the morning sun.
Perhaps photographs are just as memorable. With faded colors, frayed laughs, and broken promises. We made love under a sea of stars. But the morning took you away from me.
