I built up walls before me
And they stood as high as the eyes can see
They looked tall and unwavering
But the grounds- they're always shaking
Your eyes are weapons crashing my defense
I see you, your smile, it makes no sense
With you, my walls are just useless
But I like it, how you make me a mess
The perimeters crashed and failed
Then my mind became so derailed
But I told myself this couldn't be
So I tried to fix them with what I have left in me
The wall seems tough, but I never thought
How one day my defenses would rot
With you, it never stood a chance
At that moment, it only took a glance
