Alyssa's P.O.V
"I-wantyoubackinmylife!" He said so fast, faster than a race car. "What?" I said confused, he took a deep breath before talking "I want- you -b-back in m-my li-li-life!" He stuttered and started crying. I stared at him dead in the eye, shocked. "Wha-what?" I said

Bell ring

"I'm- I'm sorry I need to go!" Without hesitation I ran as far as I can, far from school, far from him.

Time skip

Time:2:26 pm

I went back home, because I didn't want to go to school anymore. "Your home early?" I heard someone said in the kitchen, it was my mom "Yah. I wasn't feeling good" I lied, walking to the kitchen and sitting on the stool "Ok sweetheart." She said putting a plate and a glass infront of me. I gave her the "what?" look. "You don't look like you've eaten lunch yet" she said putting carbonara on my plate and ice cold water as my drink. After I finished eating, I put my plate and glass in the sink, then went upstairs.

I texted the girls. But then I remembered their class was Math with is a no no phone zone. Most of our classes are together and the others are either seperated or one is different. Which sucks but it's ok. I went to my desk that was still in front of my window. Yes, I still live at NC.

I looked out my window at Payton's window. The curtains were opened so I had a nice view of his room. It was painted lily white. And a hoodie hanging on the clothing rack that was on his door. I started tearing up. I did my homework from the classes that I had. Then my I heard my phone rang so I picked it up, not even looking at the number written or name. "Hello?"I said

I sat there shocked.

"Pa-payton how did you-"
"I asked Nicole for your number "

How is he so calm after what just happened an hour ago?

What. I was still devastated but, we are just gonna talk! I think-

"Alyssa you still there?"
"Uh yah"
"Where and when?"
"Our secret spot, begore sunset"
"Ok?"

Seriously Alyssa a fucking question!

"I guess it's settle then"

Ok this time I waited for him to say bye. I continued doing my homework, after that I chose a clothing to wear. I prepared a baggy shirt that say "Stay Happy, Be Vibey!" And the sleeves stops right on top of my elbow, and shorts that stops at my mid-thigh.

Time:5:20pm

I have a couple more minutes to get ready. So, I took a quick shower, put on my clothes, did a natural makeup, and put my hair in a high ponytail. I told my mom where I was going earlier so I didn't have to tell her again. My dad is in a business trip, in the Philippines, btw.

Anyways, I told my mom my goodbyes and went to our secret spot. Payton told me to use the bike that he gave me, well delivered to me while he was, you know. I was disturbed by my phone ringing. "Hey you ready?" Payton said on the other side "uh yah I was about to leave" I said trying to show positive emotions "Great, ok see you later". I didn't say goodbye, I just ended the call

What. It's not like you haven't done that!

I went to my bike and started peddling.

I finally arrived at our secret spot. Aka the greatest view spot for sunsets. I parked my bike and slowly walked. I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder, I jumped a little. I looked behind me, and saw Payton wearing a Hoodie that has his name on it, grey sweatpants. And a tulip in his hand. He knows my favorite flower was tulips.

Wow how charming of you Payton.

"You look nice!" He said giving me the flower "Thanks, you're not bad yourself." I said getting the flower from his hand and smelling it.

How pathetic? Right?

"Soo. What are you gonna tell me?" I said tilting my head a bit. "Here follow me." He said showing his hand for me to hold it "You're not gonna kill me or kidnap me or something. Right?" I said confused.

"No ofcourse not!" He chuckled. I grab his hand and we went for a walk. "How are you?" I said breaking the awkward silent. "Good." He answered, but it doesn't feels like it.

Payton's P.O.V
"Good." I lied to her. Tbh I wasn't feeling good. I felt like I was slowly destroying myself. "Don't lie!" She said stoping and walking infront of me. "How did-" "Your breathing changes, and you play with your fingers when you lie" She cut me off

"Right" I said emphasizing "Right". "Wait stay here."I said letting go of her and taking a bandanna from my pocket. I put the bandanna on her eyes "What are you-" "Shh." I said tying it behing her.
