The room was unlike anything I had ever imagined, massive, dark, bone chillingly cold. I wondered how a space such as this existed or even fit among the First Order base. The walls were not that familiar grey metal, instead they were made up of stone, adding to the overall dark energy coursing through the air.

Kylo walked forward, slower than usual, his footsteps echoed as I followed close behind, doing my best to remain composed while maintaining a blank mind. Before us sat the supreme leader on a giant stony throne, his image was projected to around 20 times the size of us. He took over the entire space, mentally and physically, his wrinkled skin looked as if it was about to slide off his skull.

Snoke's image was not how I expected, he somehow manged to appear even scarier, menacing and all powerful. I focused all my energy on keeping my nerves in check, although deep down I was shaking to the core.

Kylo got down on one knee, I followed his lead as my knee touched down on the cool ground. I wasn't sure where to look, so I opted on keeping my gaze to the floor.

"Ah, there she is. Well done, the force is quite strong with this one." Snoke's deep rasping voice echoed the room, it was as if he was speaking from all around us. I shuddered internally, his sound sent chills up my spine.

I tried my best to stay frozen, Kylo didn't stir so I figured he was still bowing, not being able to see anything did not ease the fear that had been coursing through my veins.

"You may rise." He spoke again, my head slowly peered upwards before I lifted myself off the ground. Snoke towered over the both of us, he was somewhat illuminated in the darkness which made him appear much larger, if that was even possible.

"I sense a great future in you, BY-2162." I swallowed deeply at the sound of my name. "Great things may be coming in our future, and you are the key to it all."

I was confused by his words, how could I be the key? I was just some nameless trooper who happened to be born as a force-sensitive individual, I wasn't special and certainly wasn't a means to greatness. At this moment I really wished I could read thoughts, I wondered what Kylo had to say about all this.

Snoke sensed my inner confusion. "Your fate is set, it is your time to rise up and take the path designed for the future prosper of The First Order."

I took in a deep breath and mustered all the confidence I had to speak out. "Supreme Leader, I am sorry but I do not understand. How will I know what path to take? H-how am I the key to everything" My voice was weak, I wasn't sure if he even heard me.

Snoke's lips twisted into a devilish grin. "My child, you will figure it out when the time comes. I will be here to guide you on the right path."

Something did not sit right with me, but I couldn't quite pinpoint why. I figured it was because I was nervous about being so apparently important, however that reasoning still didn't provide a satisfactory answer.

"My loyal apprentice Kylo Ren will be your mentor, teach you everything there is to learn about the ways of a Sith." He boomed out again, the mentioning of Kylo being my teacher helped calm me down slightly, he would always protect me.

"The resistance girl has been growing more powerful as the days pass, Luke Skywalker has trained her well. With her power comes hope, it is vital that you train this new one as swiftly and efficiently as possible. Hope is a disease, it spreads fast, it is your job to destroy it." He spoke to Kylo now, I watched his posture stiffen at the mention of the resistance.

Who is that girl, and why hasn't Kylo mentioned her before? My mind was again swirling with more question than were being answered, it seemed I truly knew nothing, that thought was terrifying.
