I was going to school, walking and jamming on the street with my headphones in. I didn't pay much attention on what was going on around me so I almost got a heart attack when someone jumped on my back.

- BOO! - it was my best friend, Demetria.

- Fuuuuck! You scared the shit out of me! - I yelled at her while picking my phone up from the ground.

- You still love me. - she said and we headed to the school.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Alexis, an ordinary 17-year-old, but not with ordinary 17-year-old problems. Life's always been rough on me.

My family wasn't rich, but we weren't poor either. And here comes the problem; I went to school with many snobs who wore fancy clothes and had cool gadgets while me and Demetria were the kids from the working neighbourhood, I mean, our parents were modest and hard-working people who worked for those snobs.

Demetria and I hated going to school, but we were great students since we wanted to finish university and become successful one day, that was our ambition. But first, we had to survive a year and a half of hell before us.
