Chapter 21

PURE BLISS

The next weeks, Mew and Gulf are in bliss. They're both happy with what they have. Mew would always wait for Gulf every morning at the company of Mr. Suppapong and give some food to Gulf. In exchange Gulf would cook for Mew at his condo since he often sleeps there.

Gulf isn't as busy as before anymore since the construction of the new branch is on going. All he has to do is to answer inquiries from investors and receive reports from the construction and engineering team. 

Mew on  the other hand would only spend six to seven hours working at his company but he makes sure that everything's going smooth so that he can spend more time with Gulf. He sometimes found himself crazy as he just smile out of nowhere whenever he remembers something about Gulf. For the first time in his life, he's never afraid of falling in love deeply despite the fact that his relationship with Gulf has no label at all. Sometimes, it would appear like they are friends but most of the time, they're like boyfriends.

Gulf is getting ready for work. He doesn't have much to do now since everything's going smoothly both in Mr. Suppapong's company and GMTC. However, he received a call from the construction team telling that there's an emergency in the site. He quickly called his assistant to inform Mr. Suppapong that he can't report to work. He's in a hurry and called Techno and asked for help. 'mi cielo, help me. there's an emergency in the site. I have to go there as much as possible' 'okay, go to our company and look for Jack, he'll bring you there via private plane. I'll call him now to prepare everything. If you need further help just ask him or call me' 'okay, i'm about to leave now' Gulf ended the call directly. He's about to drive when Mew called. 'I'm sorry Mew. I have to go to Chiang Mai right now, there's a problem I have to fix there.' 'okay, wait for me, I'll come with you.' Mew answered 'ha? are you sure? how about your responsibilities?' 'no, it's okay. Run can handle it' 'okay, go to GMTC company we'll see each other there' 'okay, see you!'

Mew on the other hand is getting worried. It's already nine in the morning, yet there's no Gulf showing up. So he decided to call him. When he found out that Gulf is going to Chiang Mai he volunteered to come with him without hesitation. He then call Run, 'Run, cancel all my appointments for the next three days. I'll go to Chiang Mai.' 'wait, what? where? Chiang Mai? what are you going to do there?' 'I've no time to explain Run. I'll explain once I get back here. I have to go now' He then hang up the call and go to the nearest mall and buy some necessities. When he arrived at GMTC, he called Gulf. 'Gulf, I'm outside' 'okay, tell the security to guide you where I am' Mew did as what Gulf said. 

Gulf is waiting for Mew while the man named Jack is talking to the pilot. When everything's ready Jack talked to him and asked 'sir, are you sure you don't want anyone to come with you? Sir Techno asked me to be with you together with three other staffs' Gulf just answered 'no need, i can handle this. I'll call him right away. Another favor, don't tell Techno I'm bringing a friend with me' 'hello mi cielo, i'll go there alone. You know I can't function well if i'll work with bunch of people.' 'okay fine! just call me if you need anything okay?' 'okay, i have to go now. bye.'

Mew is just following the security guard without talking. He keeps looking at the surroundings until he sees Gulf talking to someone in the phone. The moment Gulf ended the call, Gulf said 'let's go' Mew doesn't know where to but when he looks at the direction where Gulf is going. He see a plane. 'hmm, so this company isn't as small as it seems at all' Mew said at the back of his mind. 

 Gulf is silent throughout the journey, Mew can only hear Gulf's deep sighs. He's worried that's why he holds Gulf's hands tightly. Gulf just look at him and smile. Gulf is somewhat thankful with the warmth he felt from Mew's simple actions. Though, Gulf knows how worried Mew is, he also know why Mew isn't talking. 'He really knows when to talk and what to do' Gulf said to his self.
