Chapter 36

CELEBRATION PART 2

The next day, all of them stayed in an island owned by Techno. There's a simple house in there, though it's not that big it's enough for all of them. There are three rooms so one couple per room. 

The same day, Techno gathered Cloud and Gulf in one room as he has to tell them something important. 'Mi cielo, mi amor I have something to tell you both!' Techno started. 'What is it?' Cloud and Gulf answered. Techno then told them about Run trying to talk to him last night and ended the story by asking a question. 'Did I do it right?' 'No, it wasn't right!' Gulf answered and Cloud agreed. 'Mi amor, you said that you two didn't have proper closure, both of you deserves to be happy. I know that you're happy with me, with us now but how about him? You should at least talk to him properly and give a proper closure that is the thing that you two both need.' Cloud added. 'Yes mi cielo, talk to him and do the right thing, it's unfair that you are now happy but he isn't because of the feelings he still have for you plus the guilt that he carried all these years.' Gulf added. Techno then asked 'You wont be mad at me mi amor?' 'why would I? I trust you and this is for your own good' Cloud answered. Techno just smiled at them, he is just so lucky to have a kind and understanding man like Cloud. Gulf just look at them happily, he can finally sleep tighter as his friends are now both happy. There's no other great treasure than to see the people you love happy. 

After a while, Techno went to Run and Jack's room. As he gets inside the room he let Jack leave. 'Jack, please prepare food for us' Techno ordered. Jack just obeyed. 'Run, can we talk?' Techno asked. Run is shocked as he didn't expect it but he agreed. 'I want to say sorry for how I behaved last night. I'm sorry if I was rude' Techno started. 'It's okay No, I understand. If there's someone who should apologize it's me. I'm so sorry for everything, I'm sorry if I was so coward way back then. Yes you're right, when you caught me kissing a girl before that was just an act. I hired that girl. My father found out about us and he told me that if I wont break up with you, he would ruin your life, I know how hard your life with your father so I didn't want to put an additional burden unto you. I tried my best to study hard and when Mew built his company,I left my family and work with him. When I had enough money on my own, I searched for you but when I saw you I just couldn't talk to you. The guilt was consuming me and I admit, I'm still coward' Run said looking at the floor. 'Yeah, I knew everything few years ago. I met the girl you hired and she told me everything. I admit, I waited for you until the day I just woke up and told myself that I don't want to wait anymore. Throughout the process of moving on Cloud was always there, he saw me at my worst, when I found out about how you lied to me for my sake, I broke down and he was there, he picked me up and cheered for me. For few years, I didn't have any plan to be in a relationship again but he didn't give up on me. He even introduced me to his family even if we weren't officially together. At first, his father didn't like it as he is the only son and thinking that he couldn't have a child to be the heir of their company made it worst. However, Cloud fought for me until they accepted us and even helped Cloud to pursue me. I was hesitant and afraid to be hurt again but I took the risk as I know that our love is worth trying. We're both happy now and I wish you all the best. I know someday, you'll find the right person for you. What we had in the past must remain in the past. I know someday, when you'll find someone you truly love you wont be coward anymore ' Techno said looking straight to Run's eyes. 'I'm sorry and thank you for everything. I wish you all the best too. I admit it's quite painful and hard to accept that we wont be together again but I guess this is for the best and what we actually need is closure' Run answered. 'Can I have a hug for the last time?' Run asked. Techno just nodded and open his arms ready for the hug. Run couldn't stop his tears, he misses this man but he has to accept the reality that they wont be together again. 'it's now time to move on, I'm ready to move on' Run said silently as he let go of the hug.
