Chapter 6

TIME BOMB

Later that day, Gulf decided to come to the office. Good thing his schedule is flexible. However, he can't hide the nervousness he feels. 'maybe, i'm just so sick' he comforted his self. One in the afternoon, he reached in the office. He can feel the coldness of Mew's aura. He ignored it and start working. Just as he thought that nothing's wrong Mew called him. 'Mr. Gulf Kanawut, the so called amazing graphic designer come here!' Gulf can sense the danger but he obeyed the man. 'why are you late?' 'excuse me sir, may i remind you i'm not late and will never be. It's clearly written in contract that i can work whenever I want' Gulf said and that made Mew angrier. 'How dare you say that? why? are you done with the designs I asked you to do? 'i'll be done in few hours sir, if you'll let me do my work now' 'what is the meaning of this? why do you have this? why didn't you show it to me?' A series of questions from Mew and hand a paper to Gulf. 

As Gulf looked at  the paper he feels dizzy and is about to cry when Techno called 'Mi cielo, I'm coming' Gulf is shocked. He can't move.Mew is scolding him but he couldn't hear anything. All he think is why does Mew have the design he has been hiding. A sudden of flashback memories played in his mind. No, it can't be. It shouldn't be. No one should see those. No one should touch those. Just by thinking how those things look like makes him weak. He gathered all his strength and 'how the hell did you get that you fucking shameless CEO?!' 'Well, isn't it obvious I got it from your file. I paid you! how dare you hide amazing designs from me? are you working for others behind my back?' 

Run enters the office as soon as he heard the commotion inside Mew's office. Run doesn't have any idea what's going on he just went out for a while to buy coffee for Mew. He can see how angry Mew is but as he looked at Gulf he could sense the coldness and anger. 'You touched my things without my permission. How dare you? I just made the designs you asked me to do. I just put the details you wanted. Why can't you be contented with what I gave to your company? Can't you appreciate all the efforts I gave just to follow all your stupid requests? why? why do you have to do that? you're unreasonable.' just as he is about to explode  a loud bang of the door could be heard. 

'fuera de aqui mi cielo'  (get out of here my sky) Techno shouted. 'I thought you are in the US?' 'Do you think I could stay in the US knowing your situation here? you allowed this bastard to shout at you? Gulf do you really think I won't notice anything, you go home late, you're not using your motorbike nor your car which only means you're too exhausted to drive . You refused to video call for many times making work as an excuse. Since when your having trouble answering my call just because of work? is it so hard to tell me what's going on with you Gulf? Is it so hard to let me lessen your burden just as much as you did to me? is it so hard to let me show how much you mean to me' Gulf is speechless how could he forget what kind of person his best friend is? Just as he is about to explode his friend rescued him. He knows Techno is hurt. Techno, called someone 'Come here, get Gulf out of here' Gulf couldn't utter a word. The beast side of Techno is out.

'Mew Suppasit right? How could you do that to Gulf? You really have the guts to shout at him? who do you think you are? do you think just because he's working here you can control him? I let him work here because i know he's always happy doing this job. But look what you did? you just ruined his only happiness, you made it stressful. You even touched his personal stuff! You're mad at him just because he didn't give that design to you! do you even have the slightest idea what was that? Do you even have any idea what would happen to him when you....' Techno threw those questions looking Mew straight to his eyes.

Gulf knows this isn't good. He doesn't want to hear those, he doesn't want to remember all those things again 'Techno please, you don't have to..' 'Shut up Gulf, I let you work outside our company because that what makes you happy, I let you come back here to be happy, I let you explore just to make you happy but you just let this bastard ruin you? look at you? when did you start working with so much stress in just a few months? look at yourself and tell me if I could come down looking at you like that? Go out now, Butler Jack is waiting for you'

'Mr. CEO, I'll sue you. I'll sue you for what you've done!'

'You don't have to, i'm sorry in behalf of my friend' Run.

'Oh, so you're friends no wonder Gulf is living in a hell, you're saying sorry for others? you can't even say sorry for what you've done! i'm completely aware how many violations you made' 

'Jane, prepare. Pack all your stuffs we'll leave here' 'Techno, please..' 'shut up or i'll send you back to US. You choose, you'll quit or I'll send you back to US or Spain!'

'Techno please, let's not make it a big deal. what if you'll lose your company? what if we'll have to experience those things again. What if we couldn't make it anymore?'

'our company Gulf. How many times should I tell you this OUR company and i'd rather lose all the wealth I have than seeing you miserable' Gulf knows that there's no use of arguing to Techno in this state. It's hopeless.

'look, we can talk about this again when everyone is calm. Rest assured we will face the consequences of our actions' Run tried to say it calmly. 

'I don't care...' Techno stops when he heard what Gulf says 

'por favor! perdón, mi cielo, fuera de aqui Estoy mareado' (please! i'm sorry my sky. Let's get out of here i'm dizzy'

Run could see how Techno's expressions changed. Techno hugged Gulf tightly and wipe a few drops of tears from Gulf's eyes. He knows why Gulf cried, he knows very well that his sky would start remembering those memories again. 

'Jane, please come with us, let's bring him to the hospital. Just get all Gulf's personal stuff and delete all his files in that desktop. We'll wait for you in the car' Jane just nodded.

'i'm okay' Gulf whispered 'no, you're not. you're burning hot'

Run and Mew are left in the office dumbfounded. Instead of talking to Mew, Run gets out from the office and went to a bar. 'I thought i already forgot all about you. Fuck, I'm fucking wrong'

Mew can't believe what just happened. Is he really that bad? Is he really unreasonable? 'Fuck, how did i explode to a wrong person?'
