Chapter 34

NEW HOME

The next day, Mew wake up first so he called Run to arrange his schedule and move his meetings to the other day. Run is happy with the good news he just hopes that his friend would not ruin it again. After calling Run, Mew then get up, take a shower and go to the kitchen to prepare their breakfast. Mew prepared a dish that isn't oily and salty. When he found out about Gulf's health condition, he did his best to learn new dishes that wouldn't harm Gulf's health. Mew is busy cooking when his lovely boyfriend hug him from behind. The feeling is completely different like he's in a cloud, Gulf isn't this clingy. Its him who often initiate all the skinship, when Gulf hugs him from behind he feels like heaven. He then turn and hug his baby back. 'good morning baby' Mew greeted. 'good morning moo' Gulf answered. They then eat their meal sweetly and an hour later. They started carrying the things outside and put them in the trunk of Gulf's car. They then left the condo. 

While driving, Gulf can feel that Mew has been staring at him and his not comfortable with it so he asked. 'Moo, what's wrong? why are you looking at me like that?' 'I'm sorry baby, it's just that I miss you so much and I'm so happy that we're back' Mew answered. Gulf just give him a glance and a sweet smile. After almost an hour of driving, they reached their destination. They then unload and unpack the packages. Later, they put them to their respective places. They did it only for more than an hour since those are just office tools. 

In a while, Gulf turned on the TV and left Mew in the living room so that he could arrange the important things given by his aunt. As he looked at each one of them he can't help but smile remembering all the good things from his aunt. His aunt gave him everything way back then both emotional and materials. He was loved and cared, he was treated like he was her own son. 

Mew on the other hand sits on the sofa while watching the TV, this condo looks so manly. There are three rooms but the other one is redesigned and made as an office. Just by looking at it, he feels home. He has many luxurious condo and houses but he never felt this warm. He knows the reason of the warmth he is feeling inside, its because of Gulf. He is thinking how wonderful his life would be living with Gulf. Waking up early in the morning with the person he loves the most and closing his eyes with the man he loves before him. However, he knows it's not the right time for them to live together yet. He must make sure that everything is settled first. When Gulf goes out from the room Mew walk towards him and guided him to sit on the sofa. 'Come here baby, let's take rest' Mew said. Gulf just answered him with a hmmm. 'baby, why did you choose this condo? I mean, it's not that convenient. It's a bit far from the central city' Mew started. 'Well, I didn't buy nor choose this. It was Techno, this condo is a gift from Techno and Cloud after the success of the branch opening in Chiang Mai' Gulf answered. 'Oh, he really loves you' Mew said. 'Yes, moo he does. As what I've told you, he's not just a friend to me. Actually, I've been planning to buy a condo not inside the central city maybe years ago but Techno didn't allow me' Gulf responded. 'oh why?' Mew asked. 'I left Techno in the US after two years of Tharn's death. Well, that was our agreement that we should part ways after two years. I came back here in Thailand alone but I almost killed myself by drinking all day and night, crying non stop and not eating well. In short, I didn't care about myself but Techno hired a private investigator to find me. He successfully found me but I got mad, for me he had gone overboard and I pushed him away but...' Gulf said 'but?' Mew asked. 'but he didn't give up on me, his investigator found me in the bathroom unconscious and brought me to the hospital. Techno brought me to the US through a private plane. I was then diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease the cause of my kidney failure is high blood pressure. High blood pressure is in our genes in fact my mother died because of it, I was aware of it but I was too careless.  I always eat seafood which was one of the causes of my illnesses according to the doctor. I needed a kidney transplant right away and Techno didn't hesitate to give his own kidney. Luckily, it was successful' Gulf continued. 'I'm sorry baby, I now understand everything' Mew said while caressing Gulf's face. 'It's okay moo, so because of what happened to me, he never left me we're always together. Though were not living in the same condo before, he always gave me time until he almost died because of the accident. So, I decided to live with him' Gulf added. 

They continued talking about their past until Gulf fell asleep at Mew's chest. Mew carried Gulf to the room. He tried to sleep beside Gulf but he can't. So, he go out from the room and call someone 'thank you, thank you for everything' Mew said to the person on the other line. 'idiot, whatever is the reason behind that, I don't care' the person said. 'I found out about his health and I'm a bit happy because of it' Mew said honestly. Now that he knows how Techno saved Gulf, there's no enough reason for him to be jealous. 'good, then you should know him more' the man answered and ended the call. Mew is about to go back inside the room when he see that the office door is slightly open. He then go inside the office and look around. The office isn't that big. There is a bookshelf, paintings on the wall, two big photo frames. He then look at the pictures closely. The picture is consist of three one is Gulf, Techno and Cloud while the other picture only has two people, one is Gulf with a middle aged woman. He touched the second picture and smile. 'Moo, what are you doing here?' Gulf asked. 'hmm nothing baby, I just found you cute here.' Mew answered and hug Gulf. 'hmm, that's the last picture I had with my aunt' Gulf responded. 'You always bring these picture?' Mew asked pointing the two pictures on the wall. 'yes, I do. Well, everything inside this room is my treasure. So wherever I live. I always bring them when I was living with Techno I often visit my old condo whenever I'm stressed out like I'm going back home' Gulf said smiling. Mew just smile at him and they hugged each other tightly for few minutes. 

Later, Mew carried Gulf and bring him to his room. 'Moo, what? I can walk!' Gulf complained but Mew didn't listen. Mew then put Gulf on the bed slowly. 'let's lay down baby' Mew said and hug Gulf again. 'Moo, what's with you? You've been hugging me endlessly since yesterday' Gulf said. 'awh, please let me hug you baby, I've been missing you so bad you know. I miss you my home' Mew answered. 'Moo I miss you too'. Gulf answered. 'baby, let's create more memories here in your condo.' Mew said 'No, moo this is not just a condo it's my home our home moo' Gulf answered lovingly. 'Thank you baby. I love you so much. Thank you for making me a part of your home but for now, we can't live together' Mew answered sadly. 'it's okay moo, this is our home no matter what, whether you live here or not. It's our home and we'll make beautiful memories together here.' Gulf said. 'so you're okay if we'll have the same set up?' Mew asked. 'Yes moo, I didn't have any problem with it. All I want is your trust and understanding' Gulf answered and kiss Mew's cheeks. 

As they're cuddling in the bed, Mew remembered something. 'By the way baby, how do you celebrate Christmas or new year?' Mew asked. 'For the past six years, I didn't really celebrate it. I just made sure that I'm with Techno and Cloud during the season. We just eat dinner and visit a temple.' Gulf answered. 'I see. How about now?' Mew asked. 'I don't know yet. How about you?' Gulf answered. 'Well, I've never celebrated any of it after my mother's death when I was just a teenager. How about we celebrate together?' Mew said.  'Would it be okay, If I'll spend Christmas with my friends and with you on New year?' Gulf suggested. 'Owh, Okay. I understand. I just thought of spending the whole season with you' Mew said looking disappointed. 'Moo, I want to but I don't want to force you about anything' Gulf said smiling. 'So, it's okay if we wont tell them about us yet?' Mew asked. 'Well, if you aren't ready then it's okay. I can wait and I understand your point too.' Gulf said. 'How understanding my baby is! I'm beyond blessed having you in my life baby. Thank you very much. Promise, it'll not take long. Please wait baby' Mew said. 'I'm blessed to have you too moo. I can wait because I love you so much and we still have more than a month to decide what to do' Gulf answered. 'yes baby. Thank you. I love you too' Mew said and Gulf responded him with a sweet smile. 

The truth is, Gulf wanted to spend the whole season with the most important people in his life. He loves Mew and both of his friends. They are his treasure but he doesn't want to force Mew to avoid suffocating him. He knows that one day, the four of them would be able to eat dinner together in one table. He isn't sure when but one thing is for sure. He's willing to wait, if not this year. Then, he'll wait for another year or even years as long as none of them would give up. Although he is still afraid to be hurt again, he took another risk. He loves him and he'll fight for him. This is the bad side of being in love, there's no assurance to be happy or not to be hurt. No assurance up to when it will last but the most important thing is to treasure every moment and spend time like there's no tomorrow. 

Mew on the other side is happy at how understanding Gulf is. However, he's also guilty. It feels like he remains a burden to Gulf. However, this time he is determined to do everything he can to make their relationship last. He just hopes that Gulf can wait for the surprise he is preparing for the both of them. 'please wait for me baby. I'll make you the happiest someday' Mew said to his self while cuddling Gulf full of love.
