Growing Up

The Week Goes By

SUNDAY

               Shopping with Kelly. She was so talkative, I loved that I only had to nod my head and smile. I found a dress that would hopefully bring Cami to her knees.

Nothing, silence. Peace was setting in. George was gone with Alyssa and I had no one to talk to about my boy issues, but luckily there wasn’t any. I was happy for him, he found a girl who could actually stand to be with him.

Cami spent the night at Billy’s.

Johnny spent the whole day thinking about her.

    Everyone was getting ready for graduation. Stress was kicking in. Last week of April. Two weeks till prom. A month till graduation.

MONDAY

               I watched Billy and Cami make out. I was sick to my stomach. Its not the fact they were making out, it’s the fact she was a tramp. A lying one at that, but no concern to me, Johnny was my main focus.

TUESDAY

               Johnny surprised me on the football field. He told me its important that I hurry, and when I got there the cheer team did a cheer dedicated just to me.

WEDNESDAY

               I was becoming friends with all the jocks, they’re all college bound. I was socially accepted, they became my family away from home. They taught me so many life lessons that you can’t learn in the books and in return we shared a bond.

THURSDAY

               George and Johnny met. The night before the big football game. There was a lot of tension in the air, but nothing a little Guitar Hero couldn’t cure.
