chapter 31 the bell tower

(Lee's POV)

You start to wake up and see your left arm is amputated and you look in your right hand and see your watch and say to yourself.

Lee: I don't remember taking my watch off.

Then you look over to Mary and see her arm has been amputated as well so we know it works then Ben and Eric come in and Eric says.

Eric: Good to see you awake.

Lee: How long was i passed out?

Ben: Not long.

Eric: How does your arm feel?

Lee: Feels like it's on fire, oh Jesus.

Ben: Hey your lucky it worked Lee. If Y/n didn't get bit on the farm where you both were at we wouldn't have known to cut of yours and Mary's arm.

Lee: Speaking of which: wake up Mary.

Eric goes over to Mary and you ask Ben.

Lee: You two have better have found a way out of here.

Ben: We have there's a ladder to the roof.

Lee: Might be something up there.

Eric comes back with Mary and Eric says.

Eric: C'mon we found a ladder and it leads to the roof something might be useful up there.

Lee: Let's go.

You four start to head up the ladder and Eric goes first then Ben then Mary and you last and get about half way and see a walker falling and you say.

Lee: Watch out!

They all duck from the falling walker and Ben says.

Ben: That was to close.

Mary: No kidding.

You four made to the roof and see a lot of walkers about the size of 5 herds of them and you say.

Lee: This looks bad.

Eric: It could be worse already.

Ben: You both think you could handle having one arm?

Lee: I had worse.

Mary: Definitely.

You see a ladder and pick it up and set it down to the bell tower and they come over and say.

Eric: How's it coming?

Lee: Hopefully stable enough for someone to walk over.

Ben: Let's hope so.

Mary: Question though: who's going over?

Lee: I'll go over.

Eric: Ok be careful.

You nod and you start to go over to the bell tower but halfway through the climb the clip on the ladder snap and you say.

Lee: Shit!

You start run up the ladder and jump on to the bell tower and the ladder falls on to some walkers and Ben and Eric say.

Ben/Eric: Oh shit./You ok Lee?

Lee: I'm fine.

You go over to ring the bell and it draws all the nearby walkers and Mary says.

Mary: Good now jump back.

You look back and say while backing up.

Lee: Oh I'm screwed.

You start running and jump but because you have one arm you just barely miss the roof of the hospital building and Ben helps you up and say.

Ben: You good?

Lee: Yeah, let's get out of here.

They nod and you get of the hospital building and go back to the house.
