Part II Chapter 2

(Y/n) Pov

After killing the last group of dryads, more of them shows up.

Kasel: The dryads are blocking our way.

Lorraine: In order to help them, we have to render them unconscious first.

Roi: That means we have to defeat them first.

Lorraine: You're right. Knock them out, and I will take care of the rest.

Cleo used her fire magic to burn the ground making a smoke screen, I switched the Monado to Speed and ran to the dryads and hit it with the hilt of Monado, then ran to another and punching it in the face, knocking it out cold. Once the smoke cleared, the third dryad was about to attack me, until Kasel ran in front of me and swung his sword, smacking the dryad into a tree. Roi then ran to the dryad archer, and dodged it's arrows and threw it's dagger at him. The dryad dodged, only for it fall into my range. With enough force, I grabbed it's head and slammed him to the ground.

(Y/n): Now with that taken care of, let's continue.

We all continued. Lorraine stopped and turned around.

3rd Pov

Lorraine: This must be my destination.

Selene: Good luck with your relief activities, Lorraine. Take care.

Lorraine: You too, your Highness. Successor of the holy sword, and the Heir to the Monado, take good care of our Princess.

Kasel: I will. And with her, I will destroy the Nucleus of Darkness.

(Y/n): I'll help as well and besides, couldn't we call it the Core instead of 'Nucleus of Darkness'

When Kasel and (Y/n) are arguing, Lorraine left, leaving Selene in thoughts.

Selene: 'It's like a dream to be with the Knight of the Holy Sword, and the Heir to the Monado...'

Just Selene thinking about it, makes her blush.

Cleo: Frey, Frey.

Frey: Yes?

Cleo: The elf princess seems to be interested in Kasel and (Y/n).

Frey: Umm... I suppose it's just because of the holy sword and the Monado. Is it okay? Love between elves and humans...

Cleo: I know. Love between species is rare...

Frey: It usually also ends in tragedy. There is a huge gap in life span, after all.

Cleo: I mean, are you fine with those three flirting with each other?

Frey: Well...If they don't go too far, wouldn't it be okay? I just hope their romance doesn't become too serious. I don't want Kasel's or (Y/n)'s heart to be broken.

(Y/n): Hey guys, c'mon! Let's go!

Frey: I'm coming!

Frey and Cleo catches up to the others and begin walking to the Core.

Timeskip 3rd Pov

They continued walking until we see a group of Treants. But they look different.

Selene: Even Treants have been corrupted... Please be careful, my Knights.

(Y/n): Don't worry about us!
