(Y/n) Pov

Roi and Cleo are in the back of the group now during our walk and I'm in the center of the group, still trying to grasp what that "thing" was. As we walked on, Roi stopped us.

Roi: Guys!

We all turned towards him.

Roi: Be quiet.

We are confused why he would even say that. I was about to ask him until he broke the silence.

Roi: I know your are there! Show yourself!

???: Keen as always.

We turned to the source of the voice, revealing a hooded figure wearing a mask with shoulder pads.

3rd Pov

???: I never thought you'd be traveling with these kids, Roi

Kasel and (Y/n) grew shocked of the familiar assassin.

(Y/n): That mask...!

Frey: What's wrong, (Y/n)?

Kasel: It's them! The white-masked assassins that killed my master!

Roi: Speak of the devil huh...?

(Y/n): Roi, do you know them or something?

???: Well, well, well Roi. You haven't told your friends about your identity yet? Oh, That's right! An assassin is not supposed to reveal his true identity. Not until your mission to kill them has been complete. Hehehe...

Kasel: An assassin?! What are you talking about?!

???: You still don't get it do you, kid? Roi was once of us, the Laughing Masks!

Everyone besides Roi was shocked. Kasel turned to Roi.

Kasel: Is this true? Roi!

Roi went silent, not knowing what to say to his new friends.

(Y/n) Pov

???: What on earth happened to you, Roi? You used to be called the 'Dark Reaper,' but now you're babysitting these punk kids.

Roi: Get to the point. Are you here to execute me for leaving?

???: I'd be happy to do it now, but unfortunately, today's goal is to see to that punk knight, not you.

Kasel: Me?

Roi: An Assassination order for Kasel?

???: Humph, I don't have anything to tell for someone who's about to die. But to make things better for me, I'll kill that kid over there as well.

??? then points at me. As he did, I pulled out the Monado, and activate it.

(Y/n): Well guess what? I won't let you!

Roi pulls out his daggers and Kasel pulls out the his sword.

Roi: Here he comes!

We all three charged him, then Roi was the first to launch an assault, but ??? has dodged his attack and punched his face. Also Kasel tried to swing his sword at him, but he dodged it, too, and kicked Kasel in his chest. I jumped up and tried to aim for his shoulder but dodged it again and struck my face, but with my sharp instincts I used my free hand to block his attack.
