(Y/n) Pov

We continued walking through the woods and see some goblins.

Cleo: Huh? isn't that a goblin?

Roi: Odd, I never saw any goblin on my way to Orvel.

(Y/n): Not only that, but this isn't a place where goblins live. They would usually don't step outside of their territory.

Frey: I wonder why they're here...

Kasel: The goblins may have seen the expedition! Ask them, Frey!

(Y/n): Hold on, Goblins usually run away from anything that is bigger than them. They will run away if a human tries to talk to them.

Frey: Haha! Don't worry! The Lua Order has been voluntarily devoting our efforts to finding homes for lost goblins and distributing food to the goblins during the drought. They will not fear a priestess from the Lua Order.

Cleo: Hmm, The Lua Order must have a lot of free time to show such mercy to goblins.

Frey: Miss Cleo, goblins are precious children of the Goddess Lua, too. You shouldn't speak so thoughtlessly.

Cleo: I-I'm sorry! Go ahead and talk to the goblins!

Frey then walks up to the goblins.

Frey: Hello? My goblin friends! Have you seen any humans passing by?

Goblin: Humans!? Ach!! Humans ignore us!

Frey: Oh, the mood seems pretty sour here.

Goblin Archer: We no need Lua! No need anything! Ach! We strong!! Show you!!

Frey: Kyaaa!

Cleo then jumped in the way.

Cleo: Don't you dare touch my soft pillow!

Cleo shoots the goblins with fireballs, knocking them backwards. Kasel swung his sword up to knock one goblin guard, then Roi appeared behind him and struck the goblin from below. Frey made use of her magic to heal us. I ran to goblin archers, and used my shotguns to block the shooting arrows of the archers, then shoot their bows and break them in half.

(Y/n): Looks like my accuracy hasn't rusted.

Goblin archer 1: You broke my bow!!

Goblin archer 2: Human!! How dare you!!

I then ran up to the goblins and head shot them. After that, I put my shotguns away.

Roi: Okay, So much for Frey thinking goblins are the precious children of Lua. That was pretty wild, Frey.

Frey is getting mad.

Frey: Those who attack travelers for no reason deserve to be punished!

(Y/n): But goblins aren't the type to attack humans that reckless.

Roi: The situation is difficult to understand, for sure.

Kasel: If the goblins are this aggressive, they could've attack the troops, too.

Roi: that's a possibility, but I doubt an expedition made up of Orvelian Royal Knights would have been defeated by goblins.

Kasel: Of course.

Roi: There is another issue. I hate to say this but at this rate, all the traces of the camp that Cleo and I saw will soon be gone.

Kasel: No way-!

Roi: And what remaining traces may belong to the goblins, not the Expedition.

Frey: then the only way to be sure is to ask the goblins, right?
